Principal Product Manager, Multi-Asset Class

In this senior role, you will be essential in advancing Ridgeline's asset class expansion roadmap. Working across teams, you will be responsible for defining the requirements to support multi-asset workflows. Your expertise will guide the TOM (Trade Order Management) scrum teams, helping them implement strategic solutions aligned with Ridgeline's platform goals. Utilizing cutting-edge technologies like ChatGPT and other AI tools, you’ll play a pivotal role in Ridgeline’s asset management platform innovation. You’ll be encouraged to think outside the box, bringing your own vision, passion, and insights to drive advancements that impact both our team and the industry. As a key contributor to our rapidly growing company and one of our first 500 employees, you’ll collaborate with a supportive, inclusive team and bring valuable insights to advance the mission of an ambitious tech startup. What will you do?

  • Connect with customers to analyze multi-asset class needs for our platform
  • Reimagine workflows for multi-asset classes within Ridgeline’s unified platform
  • Collaborate closely with the Design team to prototype, test, and refine ideas based on user feedback
  • Educate TOM team members on the intricacies of multi-asset workflows
  • Align with each TOM PM to make informed scoping and phasing decisions that enhance project execution
  • Partner with Accounting to ensure private assets not processed by TOM are effectively managed
  • Think creatively, own problems, seek solutions, and communicate clearly along the way
  • Contribute to a collaborative environment rooted in learning, teaching, and transparency

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 10+ years of multi-asset class experience in asset management or financial services 
  • Expertise in fixed income, options, futures, FX forwards, and other non-equity asset classes
  • Strong understanding of workflow design and customer-centric development
  • Proven experience collaborating across multiple teams to drive complex projects forward
  • Familiarity with AI-driven tools to enhance customer insights and product development
  • Willingness to learn about cutting-edge technologies while cultivating expertise in a business domain/problem space.
  • Exceptional communication skills to educate, align, and influence internal stakeholders
  • An aptitude for problem solving
  • Serious interest in having fun at work

Bonus:

  • Experience with multi-asset class platform development or related FinTech product roles
  • CFA charterholder

Compensation and Benefits 

[For New York and California Based Only]

The cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $185,000-$250,000. Final compensation amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amount listed above.
