Senior Product Manager, Trading Platforms

In this role, you’ll provide critical support to senior and staff PMs, ensuring smooth operations and improved bandwidth for OMS functions. By rotating across product areas and taking ownership of end-to-end solutions, you will enhance project distribution. This role is designed for a mid-level team member who will develop expertise across product functions, benefiting from mentorship and preparing for a dedicated team placement in 1–3 years. You’ll also utilize cutting-edge tools, including AI technologies like ChatGPT, to streamline processes and enhance decision-making. You’ll be encouraged to think outside the box, bringing your own vision, passion, and insights to drive advancements that impact both our team and the industry. What will you do?

  • Collaborate closely with senior PMs to grasp product features, ensuring context and knowledge transfer.
  • Engage in proactive requirements gathering to confirm comprehensive project specifications.
  • Embed within scrum teams to execute the complete product lifecycle, from initial requirements to final release.
  • Act as the primary product owner and point of contact, overseeing project progress and addressing cross-functional needs.
  • Gather market insights and feedback post-release to inform future feature improvements.
  • Provide education and training to senior PMs, enabling continuity and growth in project leadership.
  • Think creatively, own problems, seek solutions, and communicate clearly along the way
  • Contribute to a collaborative environment rooted in learning, teaching, and transparency

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 3-5+ years experience in buy-side trading and compliance technology
  • Familiarity with the entire product development lifecycle within agile or scrum teams
  • Ability to gather, assess, and document detailed product requirements
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially in a cross-functional environment
  • Commitment to learning and adaptability across diverse product areas
  • Willingness to learn about cutting-edge technologies while cultivating expertise in a business domain
  • An aptitude for problem solving
  • Serious interest in having fun at work

Bonus:

  • Prior experience in investment management or fintech environments
  • Exposure to electronic trading systems and compliance tools
  • Experience working with real-time data and pricing solutions
  • CFA Charterholder

Compensation and Benefits 

[For New York and California Based Only]

The cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $135,000-$157,000. Final compensation amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amount listed above.
