The Opportunity: 

Rimes EDM (Enterprise Data Management) business is growing rapidly, with the volume and complexity of new customer deals and strategic partnerships growing each year. A successful candidate will join in our efforts to scale our Enterprise Management Data services platform which is being used by a growing global customer base of Asset Owners and Asset Managers. 

EDM implementation model is unique in the sense that we take full responsibility for the Customer going live on our solution and setup Data Management functionality to support the DATA Management Office (DMO) in the run-mode. It also means that we develop true partnerships with our customers at the most senior levels, which continue to grow post go live offering them a true professional managed service experience. 

What you will do: 

  • Understand customer objectives and goals to deliver on solutions using Rimes capabilities – Rimes has a standard set of RT tools framework which is used to drive configurations during the implementation lifecycle
  • Engage the Customer to understand, design, and deploy strategic business workflows across the full spectrum of the investment cycle, including data and investment operations, risk management, compliance, oversight, and target service model
  • Work closely with the Customer and key internal team members to ensure the full range of capabilities are considered during design and implementation to ensure standard methodologies are achieved
  • Aid in developing improved practices to make the Implementation model more efficient with each new implementation
  • Work on problems of diverse scope which require evaluation of identifiable factors
  • Understand customers' businesses processes and align it with the appropriate Rimes solutions while providing internal teams technical documentation to ensure successful implementation of the Rimes products  Considered a senior point of contact within Professional Services and will act as a point of escalation for more complex projects from less experienced member of the team
  • Lead and document investment and operational workflow design sessions for various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, alternatives, derivatives, and related workflows
  • Lead, coordinate, and assist in customer-specific configuration, testing and user training
  • Work on problems of diverse scope which require evaluation of identifiable factors  
  • Take ownership of the solution and results working with Project Management to ensure delivery to time
  • Participate in assessing requirements, solutions, effort and workload as part of presales process  
  • Own the Solution design and estimated effort to be documented in the contractual process
  • Provide feedback to the Product team on possible enhancement of the standard product 

Who you are: 

  • Experience implementing scalable and repeatable business processes especially on investment data management platforms and/or trading platforms
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to build relationships with internal groups and customers
  • Superior communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts simply and clearly to customers
  • Well organized with the ability to manage several priorities with a hands-on approach
  • Outcome focused
  • Excellent creative, analytical and computer skills with an entrepreneurial approach to large, complex projects, and ability to execute both autonomously and collaboratively 
  • Enjoys a fast paced, high-intensity and complex environment, troubleshooting time critical issues  
  • Strong attention to detail; willing to take proactive action, and desire to roll up sleeves
  • Strong understanding of market and product features and capabilities                                
  • Strong understanding of the Sales process and need for detailed Statements of Work
  • Excellent at articulating progress at scheduled meetings and significantly contributes to discussions.                                                  
  • Seeks, receives, and provides feedback in a constructive manner. Mentors less experienced members of the team
  • Expected to travel periodically 

Technical Skills Required 

Essential: 

  • Microsoft SQL Server and proficiency in T-SQL
  • A programming language eg .NET, or a scripting language such as Python  
  • Excel 

Useful: 

  • Excel VBA
  • XML
  • Familiarity with Azure
  • A full understanding of the investment lifecycle
