The Opportunity:  

Rimes EDM (Enterprise Data Management) business is growing rapidly, with the volume and complexity of new customer deals and strategic partnerships growing each year. A successful candidate will join in our efforts to scale our Enterprise Management Data services platform which is being used by a growing global customer base of Asset Owners and Asset Managers.  

EDM implementation model is unique in the sense that we take full responsibility for the Customer going live on our solution and setup Data Management functionality to support the DATA Management Office (DMO) in the run-mode. It also means that we develop true partnerships with our customers at the most senior levels, which continue to grow post go live offering them a true professional managed service experience.  

What you will do:  

Client Engagement & Solution Design  

  • Understand customer objectives and goals to deliver on solutions using Rimes capabilities.  
  • Engage the Customer to design and deploy strategic business workflows across the investment cycle.  
  • Lead and document investment and operational workflow design sessions for various asset classes.  
  • Own the Solution design and estimated effort to be documented in the contractual process. Gather input as needed. 
  • Participate in assessing requirements, solutions, effort, and workload as part of presales process. 

Implementation & Delivery  

  • Work closely with the Customer and internal teams to ensure full capabilities are considered during design and implementation.  
  • Lead, coordinate, and assist in customer-specific configuration, testing, and user training.  
  • Take ownership of the solution and results, working with Project Management to ensure timely delivery.  
  • Aid in developing improved practices to make the Implementation model more efficient. 

Technical & Process Alignment  

  • Understand customers' business processes and align them with appropriate Rimes solutions.  
  • Provide internal teams with technical documentation to ensure successful implementation.  
  • Work on problems of diverse scope requiring evaluation of identifiable factors. 

Leadership & Escalation  

  • Grow to act as a senior point of contact within Professional Services.  
  • Grow to serve as a point of escalation for complex projects from less experienced team members.  
  • Understand when to escalate a risk/issue and to proactively do so 
  • Become a mentor of less experienced members of the client delivery teams. 

Product & Continuous Improvement  

  • Provide feedback to the Product team on enhancement of the standard product.

  • Understanding of market and product features and capabilities                                 
  • Understanding of the Sales process and need for detailed Statements of Work 
  • Excellent at articulating progress at scheduled meetings and significantly contributes to discussions.                                                 
  • Seeks, receives, and provides feedback in a constructive manner. Mentors less experienced members of the team 
  • Expected to travel periodically  

Technical Skills Required   

Essential:  

  • Understanding of the investment lifecycle  
  • Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL 
  • Excel  

Useful:  

  • A programming language e.g. .NET, or a scripting language such as Python   
  • Excel VBA 
  • XML 
  • Familiarity with Azure
