The Role:
The Performance Operations team at Rimes are accountable for the monitoring, investigation and remediation of data quality issues in the foundational data. This involves a thorough understanding of the data pipeline, and communication with external Data Partners.
Members of the team are responsible for diagnosing issues quickly and subsequently liaising with Data Partners or else fixing/suggesting fixes internally. During this process there is also a responsibility to ensure that clients are kept informed on the progress, and that requests and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
As a Permissions Officer you will manage third-party data provider authorization requests on behalf of clients, ensuring requests are understood, recorded, progressed and completed accurately through the relevant ticketing and internal systems. You will support clients, data partners and internal teams by providing clear updates, maintaining accurate records, and escalating questions or issues where appropriate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage third-party data provider authorization requests on behalf of clients, ensuring each request is actioned and recorded accurately and in a timely manner through the appropriate ticketing system.
- Review and understand the nature of each authorization request, respond to third-party data provider questions, and escalate where additional guidance or decision-making is required.
- Prepare and send accurate usage reports to third-party data providers within agreed monthly or quarterly deadlines, supporting follow-up questions where needed.
- Manage and create client IDs through Rimes’ proprietary tools, including unlocking user accounts and resetting passwords where required.
- Maintain strong working relationships with third-party information providers, internal stakeholders and end clients, helping to keep Rimes in good standing with its data partners.
- Maintain and improve partner contact records, redistribution policies, contractual information, important notes and internal knowledge base procedures.
- Contribute to new projects, process improvements and best-practice initiatives across the Permissions function.
Who you are:
- At least 1-2 years' work experience in data operations, data analysis, or financial/market data environments and experience working with data pipelines, data quality checks, or data investigations
- A detail-driven operator with strong record keeping and documentation skills, able to maintain accurate permissions, usage and contractual records.
- Comfortable working to deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy, especially when handling time-sensitive authorisation requests.
- A confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with data providers, clients, partners and internal stakeholders.
- Organised, flexible and able to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively and work on your own initiative when required.
- Computer literate, with strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications; familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce would be an advantage, as would SQL/Databricks knowledge.
- Knowledge of market data, procurement practices, financial spreadsheets, financial databases or related applications would be beneficial.
- Amenable to work Night Shift (9:00AM-6:00PM MNL Time) and can do 2-3x a week onsite work.
