The Opportunity 

Fantastic opportunity for an FP&A Senior Analyst to join the Rimes Finance Team at a pivotal point in the company’s history. Our VP FP&A is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual looking for the opportunity to fast-track their career development in a dynamic private equity-backed organisation. 

This is a business partnering role supporting key functional and operational areas across the organisation. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders, aggregate multiple data sources and turn them into a cohesive, easily digestible story. The opportunity provides extensive exposure to business-critical projects and senior leadership. 

Responsibilities:

  • Work with C-suite executives, senior functional stakeholders and operational management to support planning, performance management and operational efficiency objectives, including optimisation of processes and reporting through the use of BI tools such as Power BI and AI 
  • Support the FP&A team with the annual budget and monthly ACV, revenue, EBITDA and cash flow forecasts, with a focus on key business drivers, investment assumptions and operational performance 
  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to support investment planning and prioritisation, including shaping the financial case for new initiatives 
  • Assess resource and cost requirements for strategic projects and operational initiatives, helping stakeholders understand trade-offs, affordability and delivery implications 
  • Track delivery progress and spend against approved budgets, highlighting risks, opportunities and areas requiring management attention 
  • Support governance, consistency and collaboration across Finance and business teams, including improving the quality of financial planning, reporting and decision support 
  • Support in the preparation of board reports, including insightful commentary on investment, cost and operational performance drivers 
  • Develop, maintain and evolve KPI dashboards and operational reports that support decision-making across the organisation 
  • Contribute to strategic and mid-term planning, including financial modelling and analysis to support investment decisions, resource allocation and business performance improvement

Requirements:

Highly motivated and ambitious individual seeking the opportunity to fast-track their finance career development and gain experience in a private equity-backed organisation. 

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA), ideally Big 4 trained 
  • Excel ‘superstar’ with the ability to process and analyse large data sets, including a “Big data” mindset and experience with data manipulation tools (Alteryx, PowerQuery, SQL) and best practices 
  • Clear communicator with exceptional PowerPoint presentation skills 
  • Strong commercial awareness and business acumen with the ability to interact comfortably with operational management and senior executives 
  • High EQ with the agility to perform in fluid and challenging situations in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines 
  • Experience with private equity investors, subscription-based, recurring revenue businesses 
  • Supporting operational, commercial or functional teams in a high-growth SaaS or recurring revenue environment would be advantageous 
  • Experience with project investment tracking, cost allocation, business case development or related finance processes would be advantageous 
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, intellectually curious and a committed team player
