Senior UX Designer

At Rinsed, we are building software to run the $15bn Car Wash industry.

We're a B2B SaaS company, providing car washes with all the tools they need to transition to a subscription model. Modern car washes are fully-automated tunnels that can wash over 200 cars/hr, and they are moving from selling single washes to all-you-can-wash subscriptions. We are giving this $15bn underserved market the tools to manage and grow their subscription revenue.

We are a small team, who just raised our Series B from VMG Technology in addition to our Series A from Founder's Fund and Bedrock Capital. We are currently installed at over 3,000 car washes nationally helping to manage more than 8 million car wash memberships. What we've built so far is just the beginning. Key Responsibilities

User Experience (UX)

• Conduct research to understand the unique needs and challenges of car wash businesses and their customers.
• Collaborate with the founders and stakeholders across the company to solve problems for our customers.
• Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, mockups, and prototypes optimized for both desktop and mobile devices.
• Evaluate user feedback from car wash operators and iterate designs to enhance user satisfaction and efficiency.

User Interface (UI)

• Craft intuitive interfaces that cater specifically to the workflows and preferences of operators and employees at car wash companies.
• Ensure that our design language is consistent, visually appealing, and industry-relevant.
• Collaborate with our engineering team to ensure that designs are realized to their full potential in the final product.

Collaboration

• Actively engage in design reviews with stakeholders from the car wash industry to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
• Work closely with the founders and stakeholders across the company to prioritize features and design enhancements.
• Coordinate with developers to ensure that the design vision is executed accurately in the final product.
• You report to the head of product, and also work closely with the founders, and key stakeholders.

Continuous Learning

• Stay informed about the latest trends in the car wash industry and how they can be incorporated into the product.
• Keep updated with the latest UI/UX best practices and integrate them into our design processes.
• Experiment with new tools and design methods to continuously improve and refine our work.

Qualifications

• 5+ of experience as a UI/UX designer, preferably in startups or agile development teams.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your UI/UX skills.
• Proficiency in design software such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and Illustrator.
• Ability to work with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to articulate your design decisions.
• Passion for all things UI/UX and other areas of design and innovation.
• Proficiency in Figma design software, or related, such as Sketch, Adobe XD, and Illustrator.
• Ability to work with HTML, CSS, Tailwind, and JavaScript is a plus.
