THE POSITION

The Procurement, Contracting & Data Management MBA Summer Intern will work on high-impact projects that contribute to our procurement and supply chain goals. This role is designed for MBA students with a passion for supply chain management, procurement strategy, contract negotiations, and data analysis.

As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience and work closely with cross-functional teams to support process improvements, initiatives that drive efficiency, data-driven insights, and value creation across our S2P functions.

Potential focus areas:

  • Strategic Sourcing: Support the development and execution of activities including supplier identification, negotiation, and contract management.

  • Contract Analysis and Management: Support contract reviews and analysis to generate insights in furtherance of mitigating risks.

  • Data Analytics: Gather and analyze procurement data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to drive cost savings, efficiency, and process improvements.

  • Supplier Management: Assist in evaluating supplier performance ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.

  • Process Optimization: Work on projects to streamline procurement operations, enhance data accuracy, and improve contracting efficiency. Recommend process improvements based on research and data analysis.

  • Reporting and Presentations: Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership on

  • procurement metrics, sourcing opportunities, and project outcomes.

THE STATS

What we’re looking for in our next teammate

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be planning for degree completion between December 2025 – June 2026 pursuing a degree in supply chain management, data analytics, finance, economics, operations management, project management, or a Master’s Business Administration

  • Prior relevant work experience in sourcing, procurement, or data management

  • Proficient with data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel

  • Must have U.S. Work Authorization and does not require employer sponsorship

  • Must be in commutable distance from or willing to relocate to designated office

  • Must be willing to be in office 2+ times per week

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with PowerBI or Tableau

  • Experience in procurement, supply chain, contracting, or data management is preferred

  • Knowledge of procurement software, ERP systems, or contract management systems is a plus

  • Prior experience working in a heavily regulated industry is beneficial

Other:

  • You should have attention to detail and be a logical and strategic thinker

  • Experience working well in a team-oriented environment and communicating effectively both written and verbal

  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
