Job Description: Office Assistant (Part Time)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team at Gulf Point in South Padre, Texas. This part-time role supports daily operations by assisting with administrative tasks, customer service, and community coordination. The ideal candidate will help ensure smooth operations and a positive experience for residents, guests, and team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, guests, and team members in a professional and friendly manner.
- Assist with general administrative tasks including answering phones, responding to inquiries, and data entry.
- Support daily office operations and ensure organization of records and documentation.
- Monitor and assist with resident and guest needs at both the office and guard gate.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding updates, concerns, and service requests.
- Help maintain accurate logs, reports, and basic operational records.
- Ensure compliance with community guidelines and assist with general inquiries.
- Support team members as needed to maintain smooth day-to-day operations.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Previous administrative and/or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong customer service mindset with a helpful and responsive attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Education/Certification Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Additional administrative or customer service training is a plus.
Additional Information:
- Work Schedule:
- Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Office)
- Tuesday & Wednesday: 5:00 PM – 1:30 AM (Guard Gate)
- Location: South Padre Island, Texas (Gulf Point)
- Pay Rate: $14.50 per hour
- Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods; occasional light lifting up to 20 lbs.
- Typical Working Conditions: Combination of office and outdoor/guard gate environment; includes evenings and weekends.
