Overview
As a Salesforce Administrator, you play a pivotal role in managing, optimizing, and advancing the Salesforce platform for a global eCommerce SaaS company. You are responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, driving user adoption, and implementing custom solutions to support the company’s growth. You oversee integrations, maintain data integrity, collaborate across teams, and continuously enhance the platform by evaluating new features and driving process improvements. You act as a liaison between IT and other departments to align Salesforce capabilities with business needs.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a system administrator, managing user setup, roles, profiles, workflows, permissions, and daily platform maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Implement custom objects, workflows, validation rules, triggers, Flows, and Process Builders.
- Configure fields, page layouts, record types, roles, profiles, and permission sets to meet business requirements.
- Perform routine data quality audits, ensure data cleanliness, merge duplicate records, and enforce data governance standards.
- Oversee Salesforce integrations with third-party applications such as NetSuite, Salesloft, Gainsight, and Conga CLM. Evaluate and implement new Salesforce products and features.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business process improvements. Translate business needs into Salesforce solutions that enhance efficiency and user experience.
- Provide training and ongoing support for Salesforce users across the organization, ensuring effective user adoption and troubleshooting any issues.
- Create and maintain reports and dashboards to provide actionable data insights to different business units.
- Stay up to date with Salesforce releases, evaluate new features, and manage platform updates. Perform sandbox testing before production deployment.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and changes. Ensure compliance with security standards and data protection policies.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst.
- Salesforce Administrator Certifications
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture and experience administering, maintaining, and upgrading Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud, including automation tools like Flow and Process Builder.
- Capable of managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions
- Experience with integrating 3rd party systems such as NetSuite, Salesloft, Gainsight, and Conga CLM.
- Possess a deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, customization options, and integration capabilities with third-party systems like ERP, marketing automation, and client support platforms
- Experience with profiles, allocating roles, and managing access to meet security and industry best practices.
- Experience with Salesforce automation tools (e.g., Flow, Process Builder), data governance, and compliance standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Advanced Salesforce certifications such as Developer, CPQ, or Advanced Admin.
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ
- Experience with data integration tools such as Celigo or Jitterbit
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira.
