About the Role

We're in search of a dynamic Prosthodontist to join our Founding Clinical team. This role presents a distinctive opportunity to influence patient care, collaborating with fellow prosthodontists and specialists, as well as Ritual’s product and technology teams. Nestled in the heart of iconic Tribeca, NY, our modern office serves as a canvas for creativity and collaboration. Our environment exudes style and comfort, featuring spacious operatory rooms, a private staff lounge, and a patient learning hub for enhanced connection. This is an in person role, based in New York City.

Responsibilities

  • Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive oral exams to diagnose dental conditions related to missing or deficient teeth, oral structures, TMJ
  • Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans for patients, which may include fixed or removable prostheses, implants, crowns, bridges, veneers, dentures, splints, night guards, sleep apnea devices and implant supported fixed or removable prostheses
  • Prosthesis Design & Fitting: Design, fabricate, or fit dental prosthetics for digital analog , fixed and removable teeth or dental implant supported partial or full prostheses
  • Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate with other dental specialists (such as periodontists, oral surgeons, orthodontists) to ensure optimal patient care. This includes discussing cases, attending interdisciplinary meetings, and co-treating patients when necessary.
  • Restorative Procedures: Perform restorative dentistry treatments and procedures such as direct and indirect restorations, crowns, inlays, onlays, overlays, minimally invasive and biomimetic restorative procedures
  • Stay Updated: Continuously update knowledge on new techniques, materials, and technology in the prosthodontics field.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed patient records to track treatments, progress, and outcomes.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that dental appliances, restorations and treatments meet the practice's quality standards.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all safety and infection control regulations and protocols

Qualifications & Skills

Must Have

  • IDDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
  • Specialty certificate in Prosthodontics from an accredited program
  • Current license to practice dentistry in NY
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in prosthodontics
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in the use of digital and analog dentistry, biomimetic and minimally invasive dentistry and dental implants
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients.
  • Detail oriented

Pay, Perks & Benefits at Ritual

The base salary for this position is: $850-1000 daily rate. Individual compensation for this role will depend on a variety of factors including qualifications, skills and applicable laws. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive and competitive benefits plans.
