POSITION OVERVIEW
RIVA Solutions is seeking a Senior Data Security Solution Architect to serve as the technical authority for the solution architecture, integrating best-of-breed security technologies and leading technical presentations, architecture reviews, and implementation guidance for AI and data security initiatives.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Architect AI and data security solutions using Databricks, Unity Catalog, Mosaic AI Gateway, and AWS GovCloud.
- Integrate DSPM, AI gateway, AI-DLP, CNAPP, and SAST/SCA security technologies.
- Lead data discovery, classification, governance, and security posture initiatives.
- Design AI governance controls, policy enforcement, and data loss prevention capabilities.
- Secure AI artifacts including prompts, RAG datasets, models, agent configurations, and secrets.
- Develop compliance mappings aligned with NIST AI RMF, FISMA, and OMB AI guidance.
- Partner with project leadership and engineering teams to implement production-ready architectures.
- Apply encryption, IAM, secure SDLC, code review, vulnerability testing, and risk management best practices.
- Research emerging threats and recommend security improvements.
- Lead technical orals presentations and architecture briefings.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Extensive experience designing enterprise security architectures in Federal environments.
- CISSP certification (required).
- Hands-on Databricks, Unity Catalog, Mosaic AI Gateway, AWS GovCloud, and FedRAMP experience.
- Experience integrating DSPM, AI-DLP, CNAPP (e.g., Wiz), and SAST/SCA (e.g., Snyk).
- Strong presentation and executive communication skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- AWS Security, Databricks, Azure AZ-500, or comparable cloud security certifications.
- White-hat or penetration testing experience.
- Experience protecting sensitive intellectual property or pre-publication data.
- Experience implementing NIST AI RMF, FISMA, and OMB AI guidance.
Pay range
$175,000 - $185,000 USD
