Job Summary

The Marketing team at Rivia Mind is a creative and mission-driven group dedicated to connecting individuals with trusted mental health care. We drive awareness, engagement, and growth through cohesive strategic communication, thoughtful design, and strong collaboration across the organization. 

The Marketing Specialist will support day-to-day execution across multiple marketing functions, including social media, content creation, support preparation for external functions (i.e., Conferences), and reporting. This is an ideal opportunity for a creative collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to a growing, mission-driven mental health practice.

Job Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • 30% Content & Campaign Execution
    • Coordinate social media content, blog posts, newsletters, and email campaigns
    • Support content development and directories as needed
  • 20% Multi-Channel Campaign Planning & Coordination
    • Contribute to planning and creative brief documentation
    • Execute campaign strategy across digital and offline channels
  • 20% Analytics & Reporting, Market Research & Competitive Insights 
    • Tracking campaign performance, metrics, website analytics, KPIs
    • Supporting messaging, positioning, and campaign targeting
  • 15% Events & Community Engagement
    • Logistics and marketing support for conferences, webinars, partner events, etc.
  • 15% Ad Hoc Projects / Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Contribute to Marketing Ops ad-hoc assignments
    • Support cross-team activities for internal materials (i.e., referral pages/forms), business partnerships, and workflow needs
  • Provide direct and tangible support to the Director of Marketing, including improvements to marketing operations, workflow processes, and related marketing functions.    
  • In partnership with the Director of Marketing, support the coordination of task management within projects and workflow boards (i.e., Monday.com), tracking status, engaging in proper follow-up, and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Facilitate creative brief development for internal projects, coordinating inputs from stakeholders, aligning timelines, and ensuring deliverables meet brand and content standards.
  • Ensure all marketing materials and communications reflect Rivia Mind's mission and values, maintaining our brand guide and messaging framework across all channels.
  • Manage social media channels and outcomes, including developing content aligned with the messaging strategy, designing visuals and content with minimal support, and collaborating with the marketing team to establish the content strategy.   
  • Coordinate, design, quality control, and publish multiple monthly newsletters to distinct audience segments.
  • Engage with the Content Writer as needed to craft or edit content for blog posts, email marketing campaigns, internal initiatives, and other marketing content needs. 
  • Create basic visual assets (i.e., social graphics, flyers, slide templates) using tools like Google Suite, Canva, or Adobe, supporting ad-hoc content needs across teams.
  • Develop or tailor marketing content to distinct audience segments (e.g., patients, providers, universities, internal staff), ensuring relevance and alignment with organizational tone, verbiage, values, etc.
  • Assist with the development and distribution of marketing content in multi-channel campaigns. 
  • Support the execution of cross-channel marketing and advertising campaigns through market research, campaign coordination, and project management. 
  • Track channel and campaign performance metrics and format for reporting. 
  • Conduct market and competitor research, helping marketing and outreach teams to understand market conditions. 
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that marketing content is aligned, current,  and accurate. 
  • Provide general marketing support, including presentations, materials, and internal campaigns. 
  • Partner in support of the Director of Marketing and the Relationship Management team to outline and execute on outreach initiatives that leverage pertinent data, creative content, and best practices. 
  • Collaborate with the Outreach team to support logistical alignment and execution for conferences, webinars, community events, etc. (i.e., develop or revise collateral, coordinate and supply booth materials, track event campaign results, etc. Plan and execute marketing support for outreach teams for conferences, webinars, community events, etc. Can include producing collateral, supplying booth materials, tracking event campaign results, etc. 
  • Serve as the secondary owner for provider directory management systems, with the ability to fully execute updates and maintenance in the primary lead's absence or during fluctuating business needs.
  • Support upkeep of the organization’s website, online profiles, and provider directories to ensure timely, accurate, and accessible information for patients and partners.
  • Promote a friendly work culture that encourages a fun, collaborative, and co-learning environment that benefits individuals' well-being, self-improvement, and potential.

Qualifications

  • Education in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or similar (or equivalent experience)
  • 3-5 years of experience in a marketing, communications, or content-related role (healthcare, wellness, or mission-driven organizations a plus)
  • This is not an entry-level or support role; candidates must show strategic thinking and creative execution across multiple channels
  • Experienced with fully remote work, including demonstrated discipline and work management
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills 
  • Awareness of audience segmentation and ability to adapt messaging and format for varied stakeholder groups (i.e., patients vs. internal staff vs. referrers)
  • Requires demonstrated experience in independently managing marketing campaigns and content strategy
  • Proficiency with social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook) and scheduling tools (e.g., Buffer, Later, Sprout Social)
  • Basic graphic design ability using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities 
  • Collaborative, open to feedback, and curious 
  • Passion for mental health and a deep respect for inclusive, stigma-free communication
  • Familiarity with CRMs and email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Salesforce, Monday.com) is a plus
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to track, interpret, and report on performance data

Compensation & Employment Details

Pay Range: $65,000 - $73,000 annually

Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM, 9 AM - 5PM, or 10 AM - 6 PM EST

Compensation Determination: The pay range listed reflects the minimum and maximum base salary for this role, determined through an internal compensation assessment that considers similar labor markets to our practice across the United States. Actual compensation is influenced by compensable factors such as location, role responsibilities, required skills, relevant experience, qualifications, role level, and applicable credentials. It is uncommon for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the posted range. In addition to base salary, total compensation may include bonuses, commissions, or other incentives depending on the role.

Location Eligibility: At this time, we are only able to consider applicants whose primary residence is in one of the following states within the United States of America: Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas.
