The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Internal Recruiter to join Roark’s HR and Talent team, with a focus on lateral recruitment for our investment team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the investment banking and private equity talent landscape and a proven track record of sourcing, assessing, and closing high-caliber professionals with relevant transactional experience. You will work in close partnership with hiring managers and other key Roark stakeholders. This is an incredible opportunity to help shape the talent at Roark as we continue to grow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the full-cycle recruitment process for lateral hires on the investment team, from sourcing to onboarding.
- Partner closely with the investment team to understand hiring needs, define role requirements, align on recruitment strategy, and execute and track against hiring goals.
- Develop and execute candidate sourcing strategy, both internally and in partnership with our external recruiting partner as their central point of contact on behalf of Roark.
- Coordinate and manage the interview process, including interview strategy, scheduling, feedback collection, and candidate experience.
- Reflect and iterate on the hiring process to improve efficiency and quality of assessment.
- Participate in broader team initiatives, programs, and projects as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in our applicant tracking system (Greenhouse) and generate regular reports on recruiting activity.
- Maintain a current and informed view of the relevant talent marketplace, trends and benchmarks.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of recruiting experience, ideally with a focus on investment banking, private equity, or financial services talent
- Strong sourcing and networking skills with a proactive approach to recruiting and ability to tell the Roark story on behalf of the firm
- Strong talent assessment capabilities and ability to create a tailored interview plan
- Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail
- A high standard of integrity, character and professionalism; understanding and respect to handle confidential information with discretion
- Results-focused work ethic and a “roll up your sleeves” ethos
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong sense of urgency, adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness
- Team player who enjoys collaborating with peers and key stakeholders
