The Concierge Team is dedicated to building white-glove, seamless, and premium mobile experiences that support and delight our customers. As an iOS Engineer on this team, you will take high-level ownership of the user-facing mobile experience, crafting elegant interfaces and robust client-side architectures using Swift and modern iOS frameworks. You will work closely with product managers, designers, backend engineering partners, and data teams to deliver highly personalized features that make navigating financial landscapes intuitive and empowering.

This role is based in our Menlo Park, CA office, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

What you'll do

  • Develop smooth, stable, and highly responsive customer-facing features within the Robinhood iOS ecosystem using Swift and modern APIs.
  • Define and implement scalable mobile architecture patterns that balance short-term product delivery with long-term code maintainability and system health.
  • Partner with Product Designers, Product Managers, and Backend Software Engineers to take features from inception and technical design through to launch.
  • Drive application performance, observability, testing coverage, and release stability across core Concierge features.
  • Provide constructive feedback during code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and mentor peer engineers to strengthen our tight-knit iOS community.

What you bring

  • 3+ years of professional software development experience specializing in iOS development, with a track record of shipping high-quality production apps.
  • Strong expertise with Swift, UIKit, and a solid understanding of modern iOS architecture patterns and memory management.
  • A strong product sense and passion for building intuitive user experiences, with the ability to translate design mockups into pixel-perfect, accessible mobile interfaces.
  • Experience writing clean, testable code and a commitment to maintaining high standards through robust testing, profiling, and debugging.
  • Clear, effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to solving complex technical problems across engineering boundaries.

In addition to the base pay range listed below, this role is also eligible for bonus opportunities + equity + benefits.

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected base pay range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.

Base Pay Range:

Zone 1 (Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY; Bellevue, WA; Washington, DC)

$157,000 - $185,000 USD

Zone 2 (Denver, CO; Westlake, TX; Chicago, IL)

$139,000 - $163,000 USD

Zone 3 (Lake Mary, FL; Clearwater, FL; Gainesville, FL)

$122,000 - $144,000 USD
