Junior Accountant

 

At Robots & Pencils, we’re looking for a Junior Accountant to support our growing finance team and help ensure accurate and timely financial operations. You will play a key role in maintaining day-to-day accounting activities, assisting with reporting, and supporting compliance with company policies and procedures.

You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues across finance, operations, and management teams, gaining valuable hands-on experience and developing a strong foundation for your career in accounting. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn, grow, and contribute in a fast-paced international environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records and reports
• Support the processing of invoices, expenses, and payments
• Perform basic reconciliations of accounts and transactions
• Help ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Provide support during audits and other financial reviews

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or in progress)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles
• Proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel)
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
• English: Upper-Intermediate or higher (written and spoken)
