Material Handler
As a Material Handler, you will play a key role in supporting production by ensuring materials are accurately received, tracked, staged, and delivered throughout the facility. This position is responsible for the physical movement of materials, inventory accuracy, and maintaining organized material flow to support on-time builds and shipments.
Key Responsibilities

Receive incoming materials, components, and subassemblies; verify part numbers, quantities, and condition against packing slips and purchase orders.

Perform visual inspections of incoming materials for damage or discrepancies and escalate issues to Materials, Purchasing, or Quality as required.

Accurately transact material receipts, transfers, and issues in the ERP/MRP system.

Stage and deliver materials to production areas according to work orders, kits, and build schedules.

Handle and store electronic components and PCB assemblies in accordance with ESD and handling requirements.

Assist with packaging and preparation of materials or finished goods for internal transfers or outbound shipment when needed.

Maintain clean, organized, and clearly labeled stockroom, staging, and production supply areas.

Support cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliation of material discrepancies.

Coordinate closely with Production Control, Buyers, and Quality to resolve material shortages or issues quickly.

Follow all safety, quality, and documentation procedures at all times.
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or warehouse training is a plus.

1+ year of experience in material handling, stockroom, shipping/receiving, or warehouse operations; manufacturing or electronics experience preferred.

Familiarity with ESD controls, material labeling, and basic inventory practices.

Experience using ERP/MRP systems and basic computer tools (email, Excel, data entry).

Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to follow written work instructions.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand or move throughout the shift as required.
