ONBOARDING SPECIALIST - TEMPORARY

As part of a diverse and hardworking team of specialists you will support the relationship between when a candidate signs and offer letter to their first day. This involves managing a mix of a virtual and onsite candidates to support the entire onboarding experience such as maintaining a pre-hire portal, all pre-hire communications and onboarding presentation. This individual will ensure we are meeting ITAR and I-9 requirements and attend all onboarding meetings. 

WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO:

  • Support the design onboarding from start to finish for specific domestic locations
  • Support pre-hire communication approach from when offer is signed through employee’s first day as defined by the manager.
  • Manage onboarding inquires via the standard ticketing system to ensure metrics are captured that are associated with onboarding
  • Suggest methods to update, simplify, or enhance processes, procedures, and technologies
  • Manage virtual ITAR document verification across all locations
  • Support all tasks assigned by the Onboarding Manager
  • Manage I9 document verification and processing for specific location 

YOU’LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4+ years of HR experience
  • Experience onboarding in Workday
  • Experience using Workday as a HRIS
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. 

THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE:

  • Experience supporting onboarding for multiple locations
  • Experience crafting and managing pre-hire communications
  • Experience managing I-9 federal compliance requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.   
  • Regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, operate computer keyboard and controls, and communicate verbally and in writing.  
  • Must be physically able to commute to buildings 
  • Occasional exposure to dust, fumes and moderate levels of noise

Level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Base Pay Range (CA Only)

$25 - $34 USD
