ABOUT THE TEAM:

Our dynamic team is at the forefront of designing and building Neutron's Thrust Module. As the foundational module of Neutron, we house all the engines and integrate a vast array of fluid and avionics systems. Our responsibilities extend to the landing legs, aeroshell, and strakes. Our team boasts a diverse skill set, including the design and manufacture of both metallic and composite structures, as well as pressurized fluid systems. 

ABOUT THE PROJECT:

Thrust Structure Build and Development Support: Assist the engineering team with the development of large metallic and composite structures. 

Landing Gear Build and Development Support: Support the engineering team in the development of composite landing legs. 

Auxiliary Tanks Build and Development Support: Aid the engineering team in the development of metallic and composite tanks. 

WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO: 

• Gain hands-on experience in designing rocket components. 
• Participate in the assembly of rocket structures. 
• Engage in testing procedures to ensure the integrity and functionality of rocket components. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Current student in Aerospace / Aeronautical / Astronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering. 
• Proficiency with CAD software such as NX (preferred), Fibersim (preferred), Solidworks, or CATIA. 
• Skills and knowledge in: Composite & Metallic Manufacturing, Fluid Systems
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. 
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team spirit. 
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to see the big picture and make informed decisions. 
• Tenacity, a can-do attitude, and the ability to think quickly and make accurate judgments. 

REQUIREMENT: 

Available to work full-time, on-site for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks beginning November 2025.
