The Opportunity 

Rocket Travel by Agoda (RTA) is the strategic partnerships arm of Agoda, part of Booking Holdings (NASDAQ: BKNG). Rocket Travel by Agoda partners with global brands to bring customers rewarding and engaging travel experiences that maximize value, strengthen loyalty, and deliver results for partners. 

As an analyst on the Finance team, you will support commercial teams by providing analytical insights, performance reporting, and financial modeling for key initiatives. This role is ideal for someone early in their finance career who enjoys working with data, building models, and collaborating cross-functionally to solve business problems. 

This position may cover areas such as budgeting and forecasting support, scenario modeling, spend tracking, cost analysis, and post-implementation performance reporting. 

In this Role, you’ll get to 

  • Support Agoda’s fast-growing B2B business by providing timely and accurate financial insights. 
  • Build and maintain reporting packs and dashboards (e.g., weekly/monthly performance views, KPI tracking), ensuring data quality and consistency. 
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting by preparing templates, consolidating inputs, tracking variances, and summarizing key drivers. 
  • Create scenario analyses and business cases to support investment decisions (e.g., ROI, payback, sensitivity analysis) with guidance from senior teammates. 
  • Monitor performance and costs by identifying trends, flagging risks/opportunities, and proposing data-backed follow-ups. 
  • Improve finance processes by helping streamline recurring reports, documenting workflows, and suggesting automation where possible. 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders in Commercial, Ops, and other Finance teams to gather inputs and align on assumptions. 
  • Leverage AI to accelerate insights and decision making by utilizing internal AI tools or partnering with internal teams to build custom solutions for finance-specific use cases. 

 

What you’ll Need to Succeed 

  • 1–3 years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, corporate finance, consulting, audit, or a similar analytical role (internships can be considered if highly relevant). 
  • Strong Excel skills (e.g., pivots, lookups, structured modeling; Power Query is a plus). 
  • Solid analytical thinking with the ability to translate data into clear insights and practical recommendations. 
  • Comfort working with numbers and ambiguity—you can ask the right questions and clarify assumptions. 
  • Good communication skills: able to present findings clearly in slides, email, and meetings to internal and external stakeholders 
  • Strong attention to detail and ownership of data accuracy and deadlines. 
  • Bonus: familiarity with SQL, Superset/Tableau/Power BI or similar dashboarding platform, experience handling large datasets 

It's Great if you have: 

  • Professional finance qualifications (e.g., CFA, ACA, CIMA) 
  • Experience in the digital, e-commerce, or online travel industry.  
  • Background in statistics, decision sciences, or advanced data analytics.  
  • Exposure to ERP systems and financial planning tools.  
  • A passion for innovation and a growth mindset.
