Commercial Strategy, Senior Analyst

New York City

Get to Know Our Team

The B2B Commercial Strategy team helps shape the future direction of BKNG’s B2B business. We work on some of the most important commercial questions facing the business — where to grow, which opportunities to back, and how to make smart choices across markets, segments, and partnerships.

We partner closely with senior leaders and work at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and commercial decision-making. If you enjoy solving complex business problems and influencing high-impact decisions, this team offers a unique opportunity to do both.

The Opportunity

This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to senior B2B leadership and the chance to influence major commercial decisions.

You will help define Agoda’s B2B commercial priorities by identifying growth opportunities, assessing market and competitive dynamics, and shaping the recommendations that guide investment and execution. You will work on a broad mix of strategic topics, combining structured problem-solving, data-driven analysis, and strong judgment to help the business make better decisions.

This role is well-suited to someone who enjoys both thinking strategically and driving real business impact — not just delivering analysis, but helping shape what happens next.

In This Role, You Will

  • Help shape the commercial strategy for Agoda’s B2B business across markets, segments, and partnerships
  • Lead strategic analyses on market trends, competitor moves, performance, and opportunity sizing
  • Build business cases, financial models, and strategic recommendations to support decision-making
  • Drive cross-functional strategic projects from problem definition through recommendation and execution support
  • Support ad-hoc projects, leading independent workstreams
  • Develop frameworks that help the business prioritize, allocate resources, and execute effectively
  • Partner with teams across the organization to align on priorities and move strategic initiatives forward

What You’ll Bring

  • 2-5 years of experience in consulting, strategy, commercial planning, or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn complex information into simple, actionable insights
  • Strong business judgment and comfort working through ambiguous strategic questions
  • Financial modeling and business case development experience
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • A proactive, ownership-driven mindset and the ability to work independently
  • Ability to move between high-level strategy and hands-on execution detail

Nice to Have

  • B2B, partnerships, or marketplace experience
  • Travel, e-commerce, or technology industry experience
  • Experience in market prioritization, portfolio strategy, or commercial planning
  • Familiarity with SQL, Tableau, or similar tools

Why This Role Is Exciting

  • High exposure to senior leadership
  • Opportunity to influence major commercial decisions
  • Broad scope across strategy, analytics, and execution
  • Strong platform for growth in a fast-moving, global business

As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 07/31/2029

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
