Rockstar San Diego is on the lookout for a talented Admin Assistant who possesses a passion for stellar customer service and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
This is a full-time, in-office position based out of Rockstar’s new state-of-the-art game development studio in Carlsbad, CA.
WHAT WE DO
- We are a busy and organized team who ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day operations of the studio.
- We support the company’s goals and values, demonstrating them in all work activities and interactions.
- We are focused and anticipate the needs of the studio, providing positive and efficient support to both all local employees and our visitors.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage incoming and outgoing employee and candidate travel requests in a timely manner. Book flights, accommodations, and maintain communication with employee while travel is occurring.
- Provide administrative support to the studio and managers.
- Act as first point of contact for greeting visitors and work with Workplace Services and HR teams to ensure correct access is provided and appropriate paperwork is completed.
- Assist with the coordination of daily activities and employee-related functions.
- Schedule management – maintain the Admin team shared calendar.
- Maintain administration processes and procedures to ensure that all records are kept up to date with accuracy.
- Fielding incoming calls and handling the day-to-day enquiries and requests.
- Maintain and order office supplies, stationery and consumables.
- Book couriers and international deliveries for studio and support teams.
- Provide cover for key areas of responsibility for rest of Admin team as required and provide assistance to other support teams as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in an Admin Assistant/Coordinator role.
- Proficient on MS Office 360 Applications, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Strong typing and ICT skills, web and tech literate.
SKILLS
- Effective time management, ability to multi-task and prioritize as set by lead.
- Organized and have the ability to keep company records up to date with accuracy.
- Resourcefulness and flexibility, working in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining grace under pressure.
- Ability to work in a team and demonstrate a high level of teamwork and customer service.
- Effective communicator both written and verbal, with great attention to detail.
- Have a positive, can-do attitude!
PLUSES
Please note that these are desirable skills and are not required to apply for the position.
- Experience working within the creative industries – video games, film, television, music.
- Experience working as a Personal/Executive Assistant, liaising with all levels of a business.
- Experience using JDE systems, office management systems and procedures.
- A passion for Rockstar Games products.

The pay range for this position in San Diego at the start of employment is expected to be between the range below* per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

$47,400 - $61,500 USD
