Rockstar is on the lookout for a passionate Associate Systems Administrator to provide first line support to our development studio.
This is a full-time, in-office position based in Rockstar’s large game development studio in Bangalore, India.
WHAT WE DO
- The Rockstar Games IT Team provides desktop hardware and software support, prioritizing minimal downtime and high service levels.
- We place an emphasis on accurate documentation, security, and protecting company IP in a fast-paced environment.
- We are environmentally aware, with a focus on recycling old IT equipment and reducing waste.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build, deploy and configure PC’s and development consoles for new/existing employees.
- Provide first-level technical support to studio users and resolve basic issues.
- Upgrade hardware and software as the need arises by development teams.
- Maintain hardware/software inventory, including regular physical stock checks.
- Document and maintain records of installation processes and standard operating procedures with accuracy.
- Assist in relocating IT equipment to support studio and team restructure.
- Handle Active Directory housekeeping.
- Organize the IT store and oversee electronic waste disposal.
REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of System administration experience.
- Proficient in the latest Windows operating systems.
- Experience with PC imaging software to develop, deploy and maintain builds for differing workstation/laptop specifications.
- Install and maintain PCs and peripherals, with a good understanding of current PC technologies, software, and security protocols.
- Ability to work independently and with multi-functional teams across the organization.
- Proficient with ServiceNow or other IT ticketing.
- Adaptable and flexible, able to quickly adjust to changing priorities and new challenges.
PLUSES

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu), iOS, and game development systems.
- Interest and understanding of gaming and game creation.
