As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a passionate Employer Brand Marketing Manager to join our Hampshire-based team and help attract talented musicians to join us as music teachers.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and deliver marketing campaigns across multiple channels. As Employer Brand Marketing Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in growing our team of music teachers, driving brand awareness, and connecting with musicians across the UK. To excel in this role, you’ll need a genuine passion for music and a deep understanding of the musician’s journey. You’ll work on everything from digital campaigns to offline marketing, events, PR, and content creation—all with the aim of inspiring musicians to share their love of music while making a meaningful impact on children’s lives. Main responsibilities:

1. Campaign Development & Delivery

· Work closely with the Head of Growth to attract musicians and build awareness of Rocksteady as an employer.

· Collaborate with internal teams, including creative and recruitment, to ensure campaigns align with company goals.

2. Branding & Messaging

· Ensure consistent brand messaging across all touchpoints, highlighting the joy and impact of teaching music with Rocksteady.

· Craft compelling content, from ad copy and brochures to email campaigns and social media posts, tailored to resonate with musicians.

3. Events & Community Engagement

· Organise and promote events, such as open days, recruitment fairs, or music teacher meetups, to connect with potential applicants.

· Develop partnerships with music schools, universities, and industry organisations to build a strong network.

· Represent Rocksteady at events to showcase our mission and opportunities for musicians.

4. Data & Insights

· Deliver accurate and insightful reporting regularly

· Conduct extensive desk research to inform planning

· Quant and Qual market research to understand the needs and challenges of musicians

5. General Marketing & Growth Initiatives

· Collaborate with the wider team to produce resources that resonates with musicians

· Stay updated on trends in education, brand and marketing to identify new opportunities.

About you

We’re seeking a well-rounded marketer who’s as passionate about strategic thinking as they are about rolling up their sleeves and getting creative. Key Traits:

· Mission-Driven: You’re inspired by the idea of bringing live music to children and are excited to share that passion with others. Your Experience & Skills:

· Proven experience in general marketing, including digital and offline channels.

· Deep understanding of the music industry and the ability to connect authentically with musicians, showcasing empathy for their journey and passion for their craft

· Strong copywriting and content creation skills, with the ability to craft messaging that resonates with specific audiences.

· Excellent project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple campaigns and deadlines.

· Familiarity with event management and partnership building.

Bonus Skills (Not Essential):

· Experience working in the recruitment sector or marketing to musicians

· Experience of working with an ATS system

As this role involves regular work with children and young people, and meets the definition of regulated activity, it is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
