Now, we’re looking for a talented Marketing Manager, with a strong lead gen background, to help us reach even more schools and teachers, inspiring them to bring the power of live music to their classrooms and achieve ambitious growth goals for the business.

About the Role

As B2B Marketing Manager, you will work closely with our partnerships team to lead marketing efforts to connect and build relationships with primary schools and teachers across the UK. From digital campaigns and offline marketing to events, PR, and content creation, you’ll craft strategies and execute campaigns that highlight the transformative power of a Rocksteady music education. This role is crucial in helping us grow our school partnerships and bring the joy of live music to even more children.

Main responsibilities:

1. Multi-channel campaign development & delivery

· Work closely with the Head of Growth to develop targeted strategies that showcase the benefits of Rocksteady sessions for pupils, schools, and teachers using both audience insights and segmentation to refine our approach.

· Collaborate with internal teams, including creative and sales, to align marketing efforts with school outreach goals

2. Branding & messaging

· Ensure consistent brand messaging across all materials, highlighting Rocksteady’s impact on children’s musicality, confidence, creativity, and teamwork.

· Craft compelling content for ads, brochures, emails, and social media that resonates with educators and aligns with our audience insights.

3. Events & Community Engagement · Lead on the strategy behind attendance at education conferences and teacher meetups to connect with educators.

· Develop partnerships with education organisations, local authorities/Music Hubs, and teaching networks to extend our reach.

· Represent Rocksteady at events to inspire schools to get involved.

4. Data & Insights · Conduct extensive desk research to understand the needs and challenges of schools and tailor campaigns accordingly.

· Deliver regular, accurate and insightful reporting and campaign analysis to Head of Growth and CMO

5. General Marketing & Growth Initiatives

· Collaborate with the wider team to produce collateral to support schools, teachers and pupils

· Stay updated on trends in education and marketing to identify new opportunities.

About you

Your Experience & Skills:

· Proven experience in B2B marketing, including both digital and offline campaigns.

· Strong copywriting skills with the ability to craft messages that resonate with educators and other key decision-makers.

· Excellent project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple campaigns and deadlines.

· Confidence in using data to guide decisions and measure success.

· Familiarity with event management and partnership building.

Bonus Skills (Not Essential):

· Experience working in the education sector or marketing to schools.

As this role involves regular work with children and young people, and meets the definition of regulated activity, it is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
