We are looking for an exceptionally awesome Web Design Consultant to join our growing Design team at ROI·DNA. This position reports to our Creative Director.

About you... 

You are a strategic thinker and a hands-on designer with an exceptional eye for design and attention to detail. You love helping translate clients’ strategies into visually engaging marketing initiatives across a variety of marketing channels.

You are organized, detail-oriented, professional and driven by achieving results. You work well autonomously, with clear guidance and goals, and don’t require heavy oversight into the minutia of your day-to-day.

You are diligent about follow-up, understand how the design process works and you're passionate about achieving the best results for clients.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Help shape brand identities and is the knowledge keeper of multiple brands
  • Orchestrate, review and provide feedback on the work of others on the creative team
  • Produce innovative yet intuitive design solutions that address complex business, marketing, and user needs
  • Follow through on original concepts with clear, concise art direction that is both visually interesting and appropriate to the subject matter
  • Develop and present creative solutions on behalf of the agency that are informed by research and data and which generate a demonstrable ROI for our clients
  • Design in a range of visual styles as appropriate for different clients and mediums
  • Critique and evolve the work of our designers and integrate design requirements into all phases of production
  • Incorporates ideas and makes revisions in response to the feedback and criticisms of clients and team members in a business-like, open-minded manner. Offer well-reasoned and thoughtful critiques of others' work
  • Maintain responsibility for projects through final execution, including QA and reviewing and signing off on all revisions and production phases to ensure that the selling message is clear
  • Attend and help brainstorm in internal client scrums as well as run client meetings 
  • Apply new user experience and design fundamentals to brand development
  • Follow best practices for quality user experience design
  • Call out potential flags and highlight places where efficiencies can be made
  • Look at designs, copy, UX as a whole and make recommendations
  • Oversee detailed budgets and timelines

What You Have

  • An established design portfolio. To be for this role, you will need to submit a link to your design portfolio with your application.
  • 2-5 years as a visual designer producing digital marketing (web, banners, email, social, etc.)
  • B2B experience
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Mastery of Figma
  • Ability, passion, and intelligence to translate work with designers to oversee the visual manifestation of ideas and concepts
  • Ability to manage large-scale interactive projects, tight deadlines, and a high volume of work with a remote, geographically dispersed team
  • Familiarity working within content management systems, design templates, and brand standards
  • Demonstrated ability to model and execute research and to analyze findings into actionable, strategic designs
  • Deep understanding and enthusiasm for web technologies, emerging design trends, and innovations
  • Strong communication skills: verbal, written (relevant to the articulation of marketing strategy and design), presentation, and meeting facilitation in both individual and group settings
  • Ability to develop decks and various communication vehicles with account managers and production teams that address client’s strategy and tactical concerns
  • Possesses a fundamental understanding of market research and marketing to develop data-driven, strategic solutions for our clients
  • Ability to generate and present thought leadership on behalf of the agency
  • Ability to facilitate brainstorming sessions and workshops designed toward specific outputs and client solutions
  • Design or Interactive Media related degree or equivalent experience in the interactive design field
  • Understanding of HTML development and testing
  • Video / After Effects experience a plus
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage time

The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $25 to $52 per hour. This is determined by skills, experience, qualifications, alignment with market data, as well as internal and external equity.
