About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing global finance team. Bringing previous experience in SaaS billing or accounts receivable, with knowledge of POS payments, you will be responsible for managing the receivable operations for our U.S. region. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate billing processes, driving operational efficiency, and supporting our growing U.S. sales team by ensuring timely customer service and financial support.

 

This role requires strong attention to detail, communication, and collaboration skills to ensure smooth billing operations and excellent customer satisfaction.



What You'll Do

As a Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our growing U.S. sales team and ensuring timely and efficient customer service. You will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, ensuring smooth billing operations, and providing prompt support for our U.S. customers. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with the expectation of working in the office 3 days a week.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Provide critical support to the U.S. sales team by resolving customer billing inquiries and disputes efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the finance team in Australia to bridge time zone gaps and ensure seamless financial operations.
  • Assist in improving and streamlining billing workflows for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Act as the main point of contact for U.S. customers, providing quick and effective resolutions to billing issues.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering timely and accurate financial support.
  • Accurately input and maintain financial data, ensuring up-to-date records for invoicing and payment processing.

About You

You’ve been there, done that and have a bias for action and results. You know that building extraordinary foundations and positive relationships is the key to driving engagement and ensuring the strategic pieces of work land with positive impact. But you also bring:

Requirements 

  • 4-5 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, preferably within a SaaS environment.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is required.
  • Working knowledge of Chargebee or similar billing platforms is a plus.
  • A customer-oriented approach
  • Living in Austin and willing to be in office 3 days a week
