About the Role
We’re looking for a senior finance leader with CFO-level capability to join us as VP of Finance.
In this key executive role, you’ll partner closely with the Co-founder & CFO, CEO, Board, and leadership team to shape financial strategy, guide resource allocation, and drive performance. You’ll oversee a group of experienced divisional finance leaders across FP&A, Controllership, Tax, and Financial Operations — empowering them while ensuring alignment with broader company objectives.
With full visibility across the business and direct influence on strategic decision-making, this is a rare opportunity to help lead the next chapter of a global SaaS success story.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Leadership & Partnering:
- Act as a senior advisor to the CFO, CEO, and Board on financial direction, investment, and capital planning.
- Lead Board and investor reporting with clear, data-driven insights across performance, SaaS KPIs, and forecasts.
- Shape the financial strategy behind our growth — from long-range planning to scenario modelling and ROI analysis.
- Lead financial aspects of M&A opportunities, including diligence, valuation, and integration.
Operational & Financial Excellence:
- Oversee global finance operations including FP&A, accounting, tax, and compliance.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, robust governance, and audit readiness across jurisdictions.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving automation, scalability, and best practices in financial operations.
Team & Systems Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team with strong divisional leaders already in place.
- Align team structure and capability with business needs, supporting growth and adaptability.
- Own and evolve the finance systems architecture — including administration of NetSuite and integrations with tools like Salesforce.
Commercial & Cross-Functional Impact:
- Partner with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and People teams to drive insight and support strategic decisions.
- Provide clarity on SaaS unit economics (ARR, churn, CAC, LTV, margin) and identify drivers for value creation.
- Promote financial discipline across the business while enabling innovation and growth.
About You
- 10–15+ years of progressive finance leadership, ideally with executive-level experience in scaling SaaS or tech businesses.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional finance teams across FP&A, controllership, and operations in global environments.
- Deep technical and strategic finance skills; CPA, CA, or equivalent strongly preferred.
- Strong track record in Board/investor reporting, M&A, capital planning, and commercial decision support.
- Expertise in SaaS metrics and business models.
- Proficiency with financial systems — NetSuite required; Salesforce, Chargbee, or similar a plus.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with comfort influencing at the highest levels.
- A collaborative, low-ego, high-ownership mindset with the agility to move between strategy and execution.
