About the Role

As a Data Migration Specialist within our onboarding team, you'll lead critical data migration projects for new customers—across systems ranging from CRMs to POS and ticketing platforms. You will ensure data accuracy, completeness, and operational efficiency, playing a pivotal role in helping our customers hit the ground running with clean, reliable data.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute data migration projects, overseeing end-to-end processes and ensuring accuracy, completeness, and speed.
  • Work extensively with customer data, performing formatting, cleansing, validation, and mapping across diverse systems.
  • Leverage advanced MS Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, Power Query, and macros, to prepare high-quality imports.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Implementation Consultants, Product Specialists, and Engineering to guarantee successful data loading and thorough validation.
  • Troubleshoot data inconsistencies and design scalable workflows for more efficient future migrations.
  • Document and standardize data handling processes, creating templates and tools to enhance import accuracy and repeatability.

 

About You

  • You have 2+ years of experience in data migration, data analysis, or implementation support.
  • You're highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, and comfortable using formulas, macros, Power Query, and other advanced techniques.
  • You’ve managed large datasets and executed complex data imports across different platforms.
  • You possess a strong understanding of data structures, normalization, and data integrity.
  • You have exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and a passion for data cleanliness.
  • You are comfortable interfacing with clients, confidently communicating data formatting requirements.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms (CRMs, POS, ticketing) is a plus.
  • Bonus: experience with Power BI, SQL, or data visualization tools.

What You Can Expect

  1. Initial call with our Talent Acquisition Manager: You’ll have an initial call with our Talent Acquisition Manager to chat through some of your experience to date, salary expectations, and you can check off any initial questions you might have.
  2. Technical Assessment: You will receive a take-home technical assessment to evaluate your data import and data manipulation skills.
  3. Loop Interviews: This is where you will get to meet our wider ROLLER team to do a ‘vibe check’ on us to make sure our culture & vibe meet what you are looking for!
  4. Offer: If all lights are green and the fit feels right, we’ll conduct reference checks and you’ll receive an offer to join!
