About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Pricing & Deal Strategy to join our Pricing function and act as a trusted partner to Sales and cross-functional teams. This role sits at the intersection of deal structuring, commercial optimization, and monetization strategy, ensuring that every deal is priced with discipline while enabling the business to scale with confidence.
You’ll spend significant time embedded with the field — working directly with Account Executives and Regional VPs to optimize pricing for new business, expansion, and renewals. At the same time, you’ll own our pricing guardrails, analyze performance trends, and drive strategic monetization initiatives in partnership with Product, Marketing, and RevOps. This is a highly visible, hands-on role that requires both strong analytical expertise and the ability to influence at all levels of the organization. This position reports to the Head of Pricing.
What You'll Do
- Partner with Sales (~50% of your time): Work alongside AEs and RVPs to structure pricing for new business, expansion, and renewals, balancing customer value with ROLLER’s growth objectives.
- Analyze Pricing Trends: Monitor performance across ASP, discounting, win/loss drivers, and deal velocity to uncover opportunities for optimization.
- Own Pricing Guardrails: Maintain and update pricing policies, discount guidelines, approval workflows, and deal desk processes to ensure scalable governance.
- Drive Monetization Strategy: Support strategic initiatives such as packaging changes, pricing surveys, competitive benchmarking, and discount optimization.
- Enable the Field: Create deal strategy playbooks, deliver pricing training, run deal strategy workshops, and provide ad-hoc support to improve sales effectiveness.
- Optimize Infrastructure: Partner with Marketing, Product, and RevOps to align quote templates, CPQ logic, and approval flows, ensuring consistency across the commercial process.
About You

- Based in Austin, Texas and interested in a hybrid in-office position.
- Proven success supporting or structuring complex commercial deals in partnership with Sales.
- Deep understanding of SaaS pricing models, discount structures, and monetization best practices.
- Highly analytical, with strong financial modeling and pricing analysis skills (Excel expertise required; CPQ and BI tools experience a plus).
- Comfortable working across functions, with the ability to influence Sales leadership, Product, and Finance through data-driven insights.
- Strong communicator who can simplify complex trade-offs into clear recommendations for executives and the field.
- Background in consulting, investment banking, or a pricing-focused SaaS role strongly preferred.
- MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
