Lead Account Executive (APAC)

Melbourne, Australia; Sydney, Australia

About ROLLER

ROLLER is a venue management platform built for the leisure and attractions industry. Think trampoline parks, bowling alleys, family entertainment centres, zoos, and the competitive social venues popping up everywhere right now. We help operators run better businesses and grow. It's a genuinely fun space to sell in.

We're 300+ people across 7 offices and we're only at about 3% of our total addressable market. That last number is the one that matters most for this role.

The Opportunity

Most SaaS sales roles have you fighting over the same overworked patch. This one doesn't. The APAC market for what we sell is largely untouched, and we have a category-leading product with strong customer proof and a payments platform that creates real commercial complexity in the sale.

The leisure and attractions industry is in the middle of a real technology shift, venues that built their operations around paper tickets and point solutions are now looking for something that ties it all together. ROLLER is that platform, and there's a lot of ground left to cover.

Our VP of Sales and CRO are both ex-Salesforce, and they're building something deliberate here. They're pulling some of the best AEs out of the biggest tech companies in the industry into a 330-person scale-up because of what ROLLER is becoming. If you want to sharpen your craft under sales leadership that has done this before at scale, this is the environment for it.

You'll come in as the senior AE in APAC, carrying your own quota from day one. You'll also have one direct report straight away. The intention is for the leadership component to grow as the team does. We hire the leader first and build around them.

Why You'll Enjoy This Role

  • Own the full deal and outcome. This is a true end-to-end field sales role with player and coach responsibilities. You'll run discovery, shape solutions, build ROI cases, navigate objections, and close mid-market deals that  improve how venues operate. Solving Business Problems in real time.
  • A Product that sells on value. ROLLER is a category-leading platform in a complex, operationally critical space. Customers feel the impact immediately on revenue, efficiency, and guest experience. That makes conversations deeper, more consultative, and far more satisfying than feature-led selling.
  • Fun Industry with real-world energy. We power go-kart tracks, trampoline parks, waterparks and attractions around the world. Our customers are venue operators creating memorable experiences, and you'll see ROLLER in action firsthand. As you can imagine, site visits are always good fun.
  • A Sales Org Reps rate highly. ROLLER is ranked in the top 5% of companies on RepVue, based on feedback from real sales professionals. That reflects strong leadership, fair quotas, and clear processes.

About the Role

As the first regional leader in APAC, the Lead Account Executive will play a critical role in ROLLER's presence across growing operators and multi-location venues. This role focuses on acquiring new mid-market customers while identifying expansion opportunities within existing accounts.

You'll manage a balanced motion of inbound demand and outbound prospecting in partnership with a BDR, owning the full sales cycle from discovery through close.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
