Lifecycle Marketing Manager - D2C

Remote
What We Do

Roo (www.roo.vet) has created the first B2B labor marketplace in animal healthcare that connects veterinary professionals with hospitals through innovative technology, with opportunities to expand and offer more opportunities for both our demand & supply of users.

Our dynamic platform enables hospitals to fulfill personnel needs in real time, while allowing high-quality veterinary professionals to secure work at the click of a button.  Beyond the platform, Roo represents a growing opportunity to help hospitals meet all-things staffing, and a growing community of resilient vet industry professionals who value flexibility and work-life balance, in addition to providing the best possible outcomes for clients and their pets.

Our aim is to combine experienced healthcare expertise with Silicon Valley talent to shake up this industry and change the way veterinarians and hospitals work!

About the Role

Roo is redefining the career experience for veterinary professionals — helping them discover flexibility, fulfillment, and now, long-term value through our growing suite of loyalty programs and personalized offers.

We’re looking for a Veterinarian Lifecycle Marketing Manager (D2C) to own our engagement strategy for clinicians on Roo — with a sharp focus on loyalty program development, promotions strategy, and ongoing lifecycle optimization.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role that blends CRM expertise with customer-centric creativity, directly contributing to veterinary clinician retention, satisfaction, and revenue growth.

Your Responsibilities

Key Outcomes for This Role

  • Define and scale a D2C lifecycle marketing strategy that deepens Vet engagement, boosts retention, and grows loyalty program participation.
  • Design and manage personalized promotions and offers that drive measurable results — whether that’s shift confirmations, frequency of bookings, or high-value clinician satisfaction.
  • Own full-funnel communication journeys across channels and touchpoints, with Braze as your canvas.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align lifecycle initiatives with Roo’s broader provider growth strategy and product roadmap.

Lifecycle Journey Ownership

  • Own the provider journey from activation to advocacy, mapping key moments that matter (first shift, repeat shift, core status, loyalty reward, etc.)
  • Develop segmented messaging strategies for new, high-volume, and high-potential providers.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to integrate lifecycle touchpoints into the in-app provider experience.

Promotions Strategy & Loyalty Program

  • Plan, budget, and execute promotional offers that influence provider behavior and drive shift coverage (e.g., weekpart fill, region-specific needs, loyalty tier boosts).
  • Measure promotion ROI and iterate quickly to ensure we’re investing where it matters most.
  • Support the optimization of Roo’s provider loyalty program, including tiering, rewards, milestones, and benefits communication.

Analytics & Optimization

  • Define lifecycle and promotional performance metrics (e.g., retention, shift volume per clinician, reactivation rates).
  • Design and analyze A/B tests, and experiment with messaging and journey triggers to optimize impact.
  • Build and maintain campaign reporting in partnership with analytics and data teams.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Product, Go-to-Market, and CX to ensure lifecycle programs align with platform experience and support workflows.
  • Coordinate with Growth and Finance to execute lifecycle and promo campaigns tailored to specific market needs.
  • Ensure messaging across lifecycle, product surfaces, and support touchpoints is cohesive.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, or growth marketing, ideally in D2C, marketplaces, or healthcare contexts.
  • Hands-on experience owning and executing promotional strategies with clear KPIs and budget management.
  • Proven success managing or evolving loyalty programs — whether launching from scratch or optimizing existing structures to improve engagement and retention.
  • Deep familiarity with tools like Braze, HubSpot, Iterable, or equivalent marketing automation platforms.
  • Analytical mindset with strong fluency in segmentation, performance tracking, and experimental design.
  • Excellent written communication skills and comfort crafting messaging tailored to mission-driven professionals.
  • A collaborative, proactive approach — eager to work cross-functionally in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
