With a talented team of 600+ Roofsters, our collaborative, can-do culture is what fuels our growth. In 2022, we closed on our Series E, raising $240 million, and have offices in California, Texas, and New York as well as many remote opportunities. Our growth includes recent acquisitions of Stessa (financial and asset management software), RentPrep (tenant screening and placement service for landlords), and Mynd (property management platform for both Retail and Institutional investors).
About the Role:
Leasing Associates manage a high volume of inquiries from prospects and applicants interested in leasing a residential home, assist the sales team, do continuous follow-up, and conduct in-person tours and Open Houses when necessary. Additional responsibilities will include listing homes and managing interested prospects on Affordablehousing.com. Housing fairs are a great resource for matching our available homes with prospects who have housing assistance, such as Section 8. You will be required to attend at least once every month in Atlanta and/or Fulton County, while representing our brand and values.
Responsibilities:
- Follow up with prospects by email, phone, and SMS
- Schedule showings for prospects/applicants
- Conduct In-person tours and host open houses when necessary
- Listing homes on the local MLS
- Attending Housing Fairs to assist with placing prospects who have housing assistance
- Create listings on Affordablehousing.com and manage all prospects generated from the site
- Collect and aggregate documentation necessary for rental application screening
- Develop strong knowledge of available inventory
- Train support team members
- Track leasing metrics
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in property management or real estate
- Licensed Real Estate Agent in Georgia
- Experience working with Housing Authority Programs highly preferred
- Ability to prioritize and take initiative
- Excellent customer service skills
- Phenomenal communication skills, both written and verbal
- High level of attention to detail
- Tech-savvy with the ability to use Google Suite
Location:
This position is classified as HYBRID in the Greater Atlanta Area.
Travel required:
This position will require some travel within the market.
Compensation:
$40,000-$45,000 base salary with a tiered commission plan based on leases executed
Our compensation reflects several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position represents the expected salary for this position. Ultimately, in determining your pay it will be based on several factors including location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience and other job related factors. Roofstock is a total compensation company; the base salary is only part of our total compensation package.
