About the Team

Roofstock’s STR team has the opportunity to build and shape an entirely new business unit together. The team is obsessed with people, in particular our owners, our guests, and our teammates. We extend our hospitality to everyone around us, there’s no such thing as “not my job,” and we celebrate our wins together. About the Role

As a Linen Specialist, you are the backbone of our property readiness team. This role is far more than just laundry; it is about precision, organization, and efficiency. You will be responsible for ensuring that every guest arrives to a home stocked with crisp, high-quality linens that meet our rigorous brand standards. Working in our central facility, you will manage the lifecycle of our textiles—from high-volume cleaning and machinery operation to strategic inventory staging for our field teams. Responsibilities

  • Quality Assurance: Professionally launder, dry, and inspect all inventory—including linens, terry, and bedding—to ensure they meet company "White Glove" cleanliness standards.
  • Inventory Management: Efficiently sort, fold, and label items to maintain a highly organized central laundry facility.
  • Fulfillment & Logistics: Prepare and stage linen sets for timely field team pick-up; assist with the localized transport of supplies as operational needs dictate.
  • Chemical & Equipment Safety: Safely operate commercial-grade washers and dryers using designated cleaning products and following all chemical safety protocols.
  • Facility Oversight: Proactively monitor and report any equipment malfunctions, inventory damage, or safety hazards to leadership.
  • Collaboration: Maintain open communication with management and field teams to ensure daily turnover goals are met; attend all necessary team briefings.
  • Adaptive Support: Provide flexible assistance to colleagues and management on special projects to ensure seamless hospitality operations.

Qualifications

  • Availability: Flexible schedule required, including daytime, weekends, and holidays.
  • Logistics: Must have reliable transportation for consistent attendance and occasional supply transport.
  • Professionalism: Ability to maintain a high level of detail and accuracy while working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Technical Aptitude: Experience operating commercial machinery and comfortable using mobile technology (iOS), computers, and email for daily reporting.
  • Experience: Prior experience in commercial linen care or hospitality operations is preferred, but we are willing to train candidates with a strong work ethic.

Compensation

The compensation range may be adjusted based on experience and location.

Pay Transparency

Our compensation reflects several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position represents the expected salary for this position.  Ultimately, in determining your pay it will be based on several factors including location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience and other job related factors.  Roofstock is a total compensation company; the base salary is only a part of our total compensation package.
