About the Team:

The Ecommerce team are masters of blending art and science. They combine creative thinking and analytics to deliver an industry-leading experience across our digital platforms. They drive the Ecommerce experience, acquisition/growth and retention vision for the brand. This team works closely with the Brand Marketing and Merchandising teams to bring product stories to life in an impactful way and partners hand-in-hand with our Tech team to explore new areas of opportunity in our Ecommerce ecosystem. As fans of all things Ecommerce, they’re also always on the lookout for the latest digital commerce trends.

The Vice President, Ecommerce will drive a best in class customer experience on Rothys.com while working collaboratively and cross-functionally to achieve P&L goals. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the VP, Ecommerce will lead the strategy and execution of Ecommerce and performance marketing plans.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the vision and strategy for the Ecommerce channel and deliver on growth and profitability goals
  • Oversee holistic Ecommerce customer experience as well as larger vision as to how it fits into overarching brand ecosystem and customer journey
  • Develop annual and seasonal Ecommerce strategies and plans to deliver against Rothy’s business and customer goals
  • Oversee in-season commercial planning as it relates to the Ecommerce channel to deliver on seasonal and annual budget
  • Lead, develop and mentor critical Ecommerce team functions including site experience, growth marketing, retention marketing and site analytics teams
  • Lead the team to manage Ecommerce owned elements of the P&L, especially focused on digital media, to consistently drive business goals
  • Lead the performance marketing function and teams (internal and external) to develop and execute go-to market campaigns across the customer lifecycle that drive consideration, conversion, engagement, and retention
  • Partner with the Data & Analytics team to identify highest value customer segments and build a strategic roadmap for significantly more personalized and segmented communications and experiences
  • Partner closely with the VP, Technology on developing clear Ecommerce and marketing business cases, longer term tech roadmap and optimizing our technology stack
  • Partner with the brand team on the content development, providing them with the key needs of each season, key insights/learnings to take into account along with analytical feedback
  • Establish brand differentiation and sustained success through continuous analyses of market trends, competitive influences, and performance of digital outlets
  • Drive innovation for Rothy’s through researching new revenue models

You have:

  • 15+ years of experience in global Ecommerce and/or digital marketing in high growth, dynamic consumer companies
  • A high business acumen with expertise leading an Ecommerce growth business
  • Deep experience across channel marketing, growth marketing, digital & content marketing, site experience, customer marketing, marketing automation & technology
  • Successfully partnered with Brand Marketing teams to build an integrated plan balancing efficiency and storytelling
  • A track record of identifying and implementing new digital marketing tools and consumer experiences to drive growth
  • Experience in managing large budgets and teams in ways that deliver on company and employee growth
  • A proven track record of innovation, growth and execution across growth marketing, demand generation and digital marketing
  • The ability to communicate with every level of the company, inspire confidence from any audience, and elevate every conversation
  • Experience with analytics tools (Looker and Amplitude), audience tools (Segment), retention tools (Iterable), and paid media partners (Google, Meta, TikTok)

Pay range:

$250,000 - $350,000 annually

Base pay is one part of the total rewards package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.  This role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
