From analyzing business trends to providing an in-depth look at consumer behavior, this team takes data and numbers—and transforms them into meaningful insights. The important work that these analytical minds spearhead is essential to the business, helping us determine the best path forward. 

Looking for an opportunity to thrive and flex both your analytical skills and strategic knowledge at a thoughtful, sustainable growth company? Rothy’s is looking for a Data Analyst to support the Acquisition and Retention teams.

The Data Analyst will work closely with these teams to analyze the customer product journey, cohort customer performance, and multi-channel paths. For this role, success will come through analyzing and informing our marketing strategy - from structuring and informing the best way to gauge marketing performance to uncovering insights on customer segmentation and personalization. 

What you’ll do:

  • Ensure data quality for accurate performance metrics across various reporting and dashboards
  • Assist in building and maintaining dashboards on Looker to meet the diverse analytical needs across the company, ensuring that all teams have access to relevant and actionable data
  • Maintain the spend process to ensure accurate reporting, ensuring that financial and performance metrics are correctly captured and communicated
  • Synthesize findings into clear, cohesive presentations, delivering actionable insights across the organization and to Leadership teams, enabling data-driven decision-making at every level
  • Bring creative ideas to the table to analyze the performance of strategies, challenging existing approaches and suggesting new methods
  • Collaborate with the User Acquisition and Retention teams to guide and report on channel performance, ensuring alignment with broader company goals and strategies
  • Provide actionable insights on customer Lifetime Value (LTV) influenced by marketing efforts, purchase behavior, email, and social interactions, helping to shape future strategies
  • Actively participate in end-of-month readouts to measure the performance of the business using LTV and retention rate metrics, providing key insights and recommendations
  • Leverage Mixed Media Models, channel testing, and customer path analysis to drive marketing spend decisions, optimize channel mix, and enhance creative sequencing
  • Educate and cultivate the use of Looker dashboards across the organization, empowering teams to leverage data in their daily operations and long-term planning

You have:

  • 4 or more years of data analysis experience in the ecommerce space
  • Training/education in Business Analytics, Information Systems, related field or equivalent experience
  • Technical skills including:
    • Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write complex queries and optimize performance
    • Extensive experience in building dashboards and reports using Looker (required)
    • Strong Excel and Google sheet skills for data manipulation and analysis
    • Experience with statistical modeling tools like Python
    • Familiarity with Google Analytics and Amplitude for analyzing site performance
  • Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills, with a passion for data-driven decision-making
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to transition between detailed data and high-level insights
  • Excellent communication skills, and are capable of crafting data stories that resonate with diverse audiences

Pay range:

$107,000 - $126,000 annually

Base pay is one part of the total rewards package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.  This role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
