Job Summary
You’re a storyteller, who specializes in sifting through large amounts of data, extracting insights, and sharing them in a concise manner that supports decision making. You are an exceptional team player, and a natural coach and mentor with demonstrated success managing and inspiring analysts. You’re passionate about using data to shape adverting strategies and has a strong understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Manage the full media analytics cycle from concept to delivery, including programmatic, paid social, paid search and offline channels (TV, radio, print, etc.)
- Manage backend data workflows using automaton software Alteryx to ensure clean, accurate datasets are used in reporting
- Understand business needs and lead the design and execution of cross-channel campaign measurement frameworks that will help clients achieve their goals
- Facilitate the integration of data into audience-centric media plans, informed by an in-depth understanding of our target
- Be the face of analytics to the clients. Present media insights and recommendations that are supported by data to internal teams and clients
- Develop a holistic view of campaign performance, working cross-functionally with teams to refine existing media strategy and inform future campaign development
- Provide data-driven actionable insights that inform advertising investment allocation and help identify high-potential audiences, channels, pubs and tactics to be activated and/or tested
- Create a testing roadmap, identifying opportunities to utilize structured marketing experiments to answer important business questions (ROAS, incrementality, investment allocation across audiences, channels, most effective ad formats/sizes, optimal frequency level, etc.)
- Provide ongoing accurate and timely reporting and analysis for clients and internal stakeholders, with a laser focus on adding value and improving media performance
- Use data visualization tools to elevate the reports and dashboards provided to clients, enhancing the quality of data visualizations, and ensuring we deliver information in the most effective manner
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings, implementing strategies to automate data extraction and transformation flows using programming language
How You’ll Excel In Your Role
- 4+ years of experience within media analytics, preferably in an agency environment. Experience managing direct reports.
- Strong communicator, with ample client facing experience and ability to synthesize complex findings into clear and concise recommendations for a non-technical audience
- Extensive experience with digital media platforms (DV360, DCM, Google Ads, Innovid, Facebook, The Trade Desk)
- Knowledge of digital data technologies (DMPs, DSPs, MTA, web analtiycs, digital pixel tracking, site tagging, etc.)
- Experience creating data visualizations using business intelligence tools (Tableau, Domo, PowerBI, Looker, etc.)
- Experience building, managing and QA-ing ETL workflows in Alteryx and/or Domo
- Experience working with cloud-based data warehouse (Google BigQuery, AWS, Azzure, etc)
- Fluency in SQL is a strong plus
- Outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Effective time management, with proven ability to handle multiple projects at a time while maintaining a sharp eye for detail
This is an exempt position and is not eligible for overtime compensation. The semi-monthly salary range for this position is $4,166.67 - $5,000.00 with an annualized equivalent of $100,000 - $120,000
