Analyst

We’re RPA: an independent advertising agency that puts People First. It’s a unique philosophy for a different kind of agency: where we aspire to create work that truly matters to people, for brands that respect and value people, with a team we empower and treat like people. And we do it all in the heart of sunny Santa Monica, California.

Why You’ll Never Want to Leave

Our People First philosophy means creating a culture where people like you can thrive, do meaningful work, and — we hope — stick around  for a while. In an industry known for high turnover, people at RPA seem to recognize the value of an environment that truly wants to support our Associates’ lives and career growth.

Who You’ll Be Collaborating With

Every day, you’ll be teaming up with a diverse, enthusiastic, multi-disciplinary team of professionals with a smart sense of humor and a strong desire to grow and develop.

What You'll Be Helping Achieve

RPA is seeking an Analyst to join the Analytics and Insights team.

You're not an Analyst...you're an amazing storyteller. OK, you're an Analyst. But you can tell extraordinary stories with data, and that is what we are looking for. If you enjoy numbers and are a critical thinker that can multi-task, work in team settings, produce high quality work with minimal supervision, then you may have just found your dream job.

What You'll Be Working On
  • Key player for the Honda/Acura research and analytics practice overseeing campaign measurement plans, goal setting, and insights across all media channels (online and offline)
  • Collaborating with internal teams at RPA and Honda/Acura clients to analyze data from multiple sources in order to tell the most effective story (programmatic, social media, etc.)
  • Building and presenting client and executive facing visuals, tying results back to business and marketing objectives
How You'll Excel in Your Role
  • 1-2 years analytics experience with a focus on advertising
  • Fluency using Microsoft Excel for analysis, charting, and automation
  • Experience visualizing client deliverables data within PowerPoint or Tableau
  • Experience with unrefined data using a variety of analytical and statistical toolsets (e.g., Excel, SQL, or other BI Tools)
  • Self-starter who is resourceful, collaborative, and able to run with something given minimal direction
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear and straightforward written and verbal communicator with a genuine zest for numbers/analytics
  • Strong organization, project management, and time management skills
  • Strong client management skills, ability to prioritize requests alongside regular deliverables
  • Eager to learn new skills

The semi-monthly salary for this position is $2,687.50, with an annualized equivalent of $64,500.

As an Equal Opportunity Employer, at RPA we hire without consideration to race, religion, creed, color, national origin, age, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, veteran status, disability, or any other classification protected by federal, state, or local law.
