As a Materials Engineer, you’ll dive deep into the latest running footwear, understand how they work and how to create test that can differentiate them. You will work with other test developers to create a series of test that will characterize and help our users choose the best running shoe for their need.

Your role 

  • Design and Develop High-Quality Tests: Create and design reliable tests for running shoe, ensuring they are updated with new product features to maintain relevance and accuracy
  • Innovate and Validate: Research and stay abreast of emerging technologies and market innovations. Validate hypotheses through comprehensive product testing to support cutting-edge advancements
  • Collaborate and Support: Work closely with various departments to identify critical product information that users seek. Provide ongoing support to testing teams throughout the testing process to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Share Your Expertise: Serve as a running shoe product expert by engaging with users through our site forum and email, addressing their questions and concerns

  • You have a great ability to understand and identify enthusiast’s needs

Qualification/Experience 

  • Must be able to demonstrate expert-level knowledge in running shoe and test design
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical, electronic, mechanical, computer, software, etc.) or equivalent background/experiences
  • 5+ years of working experience in engineering or in a relevant field
  • Must be able to establishes clear success metrics for complex initiatives
  • Like to collaborates across teams to ensure the desired quality is achieved and mentors junior team members to improve autonomy
  • Good at using data, evidence, and logical reasoning to formulate project goal
  • Good knowledge of Matlab or Python
  • Good communication skills in English 
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 
  • Experience as an advanced runner and involvement in running events is a great asset

    • Advanced Runner (M):

      • 10k: <45min
      • 21k: <1h45min
