Overview

RTW Investments is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investor Relations Associate to support the Strategic Partnerships team across all aspects of investor relations. This individual will play a critical role in serving RTW’s global client base by contributing to strategic business content and communications, creating and managing marketing materials, and addressing investor inquiries. The Strategic Partnerships team is responsible for building relationships with partners (institutional investors, banks, academic institutions, and peer firms), conceiving new investment products, marketing, investor relations, client service, and enterprise communications initiatives. This role presents a unique opportunity to become a valued member of a dynamic team driving the growth and visibility of RTW.

Key Responsibilities

• Support all investor relations activities across RTW’s client base and investment products
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of marketing materials such as presentations, factsheets, webinars, and investor letters
  • Assist with client service related tasks including responding to LP data requests, questionnaires and RFIs
  • Support new business development efforts including CRM database management, trip planning and outreach
• In addition, the role will involve support in building the brand across a variety of products (private funds, listed closed end fund, and charitable foundation)
• The listed responsibilities are not comprehensive, and additional tasks may be assigned as required

 

Qualifications and Skills

• 4-year degree
• Strong knowledge of PowerPoint, Microsoft Word and Excel
• Investment industry experience of 2+ years in investment banking, management consulting, corporate finance or buy side experience at a healthcare hedge funds, PE, Fund of Hedge Funds, etc.
• Craft compelling content storylines on topics such as business overviews, investment products, and investment theses or case studies—and to effectively translate those narratives into PowerPoint presentations
• Experience with executing marketing content, financial writing and editing and general presentation creation
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, identifies and solves for inefficiencies
• Experience in Biotech and life sciences products
• Must be able to work from our New York City office 4-5 days per week

 

The base salary for this New York-based position ranges from $140,000 to $180,000, depending on experience, skills, and responsibilities. Actual salary may vary based on qualifications and the level at which the role is hired. In addition to the base salary, the role includes a discretionary incentive compensation program, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical and life insurance, retirement plans, tax-free savings options, and access to additional healthcare programs.
