Job Summary: 

Ruggable is seeking an experienced and highly organized Warehouse & Inventory Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of raw material storage and movement while occasionally supporting returns teams as needed. This role is essential for ensuring efficient inventory management, smooth material flow, and seamless collaboration with our local manufacturing team. As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will manage all aspects of raw material handling, from receipt and storage to shipping and inventory control. Your primary focus will be optimizing warehouse processes, upholding safety and quality standards, and leading a team of skilled associates. Your leadership will drive our commitment to exceptional service and value for our customers.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Supervision & Leadership: Lead a team of associates by providing mentorship, guidance, and motivation, ensuring optimal team performance & achieving operational goals
  • Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and orderliness
  • Logistics Coordination: Manage the scheduling and execution of inbound and outbound deliveries, ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient movement of raw materials
  • Inventory Management: Conduct cycle counts, manage bin locations, and maintain accurate records of inventory, shipping, and receiving activities to ensure data integrity
  • Labor Productivity: Monitor labor efficiency and allocate resources effectively to meet productivity goals while maintaining cost control and operational efficiency
  • Quality Assurance: Perform quality inspections on materials and processes, addressing issues proactively to ensure adherence to company standards and minimize operational disruptions
  • Safety and Training: Implement safety protocols and training programs per OSHA standards and company policies to ensure a safe and compliant working environment

What You’ll Need to Have:

Required:

  • 2+ years of supervisory experience in a warehouse environment, ideally managing storage or third-party logistics (3PL) operations
  • Strong capacity to perform well under pressure while working with moderate supervision and maintaining focus on priorities
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Google Suite; ability to leverage these tools for reporting and operational tasks
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing WMS and related tools to manage inventory, track material flow, and optimize warehouse operations for increased accuracy and efficiency
  • Proven ability to work independently, make data-driven decisions, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Valid US Driver’s License 
  • Ability to be onsite in Bedford Park, IL five (5) days a week

Preferred: 

  • Conversational Spanish: The ability to communicate in Spanish is an advantage, though optional, for effectively interacting with Spanish-speaking team members and facilitating smooth operations
  • Experienced in operating large box trucks (up to 26 feet): Comfortable and skilled in safely operating large vehicles for transporting materials, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations

Compensation:

  • $58,000 - $65,000 per year base salary
  • An annual bonus percentage that varies based on level of role
  • Employer matching (up to 3% of base salary) for company sponsored 401K plan
