Job Summary:

Ruggable is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Bedford Park, IL. We are seeking a driven and hands-on leader who is ready to grow with us as we build a high-performing warehouse team. Reporting to the Warehouse & Fulfillment Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor will oversee daily operations, including inbound and outbound shipments, managing finished goods and raw material inventory, and processing returns. This role is an excellent fit for someone who values operational excellence, makes decisions based on data and performance metrics, and thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment. What You’ll Do: 

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound shipments, returns processing, and inventory management for finished goods and raw materials
  • Own and drive initiatives to improve the Returns to Inventory rate, partnering cross-functionally to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and sustain improvements
  • Lead, coach, and support warehouse employees to meet safety, productivity, and quality goals
  • Coordinate training for warehouse personnel, ensuring strong onboarding and continuous skill development
  • Monitor key operational metrics and use data to drive decision-making and identify areas for improvement
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across the team
  • Maintain high standards of organization, cleanliness, and compliance with company policies
  • Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and escalate concerns as needed
  • Conduct regular inventory audits, cycle counts, and assist in reconciliation efforts
  • Support warehouse projects, initiatives, and process improvement efforts as needed

What You’ll Need to Have:

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED required. A bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred. Alternatively, 1–3 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics, including at least 1 year in a leadership or lead role
  • Proven ability to lead a team, drive performance, and maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment
  • Comfortable using operational data and metrics to make decisions and drive improvements
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of collaboration and timely communication with leadership
  • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or similar inventory systems
  • Familiarity with standard warehouse equipment and safety procedures
  • Ability to lift to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods as needed

Preferred:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Valid forklift certification (Stand-up reach experience is a plus)
  • Experience operating a 26ft box truck

Schedule:

  • Wednesday - Saturday (6:30 am - 5:00 pm)

Compensation:

  • $58,000 - $65,000 per year base salary
  • An annual bonus percentage that varies based on the level of the role
  • Employer matching (up to 3% of base salary) for company-sponsored 401K plan
