Job Summary:

We’re seeking a strategic, organized Social & Influencer Manager to serve as the connective tissue of our growing department. In this role, you will bridge the gap between strategy and day-to-day execution, interfacing across a handful of departments. You’ll be expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy, confidently own your workstreams, proactively drive initiatives forward, and effectively manage up to ensure alignment, visibility, and momentum. We have robust plans across social, influencer, and PR in 2026, and you will be a key collaborator in fitting the puzzle pieces together and ensuring that our social storytelling and influencer activations work in harmony.

You will take ownership of Ruggable’s influencer strategy and gifting approach end-to-end, while also supporting the identification and sourcing of brand partners aligned to our Ideal Partner Profiles (IPP). You will mentor our Social Coordinator, helping guide them on social strategy development and strengthening their social listening skills, while assisting with the finer details of fast-moving campaigns and evergreen brand-building content. We’re looking for someone who has a pulse on the influencer and creator community, is a natural connector and mentor, and a data-informed, creative thinker who loves the home décor space.

What You’ll Do:

Strategic Influencer Management & Sourcing

  • Proactive Sourcing & Vetting:  Go beyond standard lists to strategically source and vet creators who align perfectly with Ruggable’s aesthetic and campaign goals. You will identify partners who can reach new audiences and deepen brand affinity in collaboration with our social creative agency.
  • Relationship Management:  Own the full lifecycle of influencer relationships—from initial outreach and negotiation to briefing and long-term relationship building.
  • Integrated Planning: Proactively identify opportunities to leverage influencers to strengthen broader marketing plans. You will identify how creators can elevate our product launches and brand moments before the brief is even written.
  •  Briefing & Creative Direction:  Translate marketing goals into clear, inspiring briefs for creators. You will manage the feedback loop to ensure content feels authentic to the creator while hitting Ruggable’s key messages.
  • Gifting Strategy & Execution:  Develop and own the gifting strategy for influencer partnerships (inbound, LTK, etc.), including target creator selection, product coordination, outreach sequencing, and post-delivery follow-up to maximize authentic unboxings, sentiment, and long-term relationship value. Manage gifting budgets, track ROAS and sentiment, and optimize the gifting calendar to align with product launches and seasonal campaigns.

Trend Spotting & Listening

  • Utilize social listening tools (e.g., Talkwalker, Dash Social) to monitor brand sentiment, industry trends, and competitor activity.
  • Data-Led Briefing:  Translate listening findings into actionable opportunities. You will take what you hear in the market and turn it into concrete briefs for the social team or influencer partners (e.g., "People are talking about X trend, let’s brief 3 influencers to cover it").
  • Performance Feedback:  Consistently review performance data to inform who we hire, what we post, and how we adjust our strategy in real-time.

Team Mentorship & Content Operations

  • Mentor the Social Coordinator: Act as a daily coach, helping them prioritize their workload, leverage social listening tools, and guide their professional development across workstreams.
  • Operational Execution:  Ensure the team runs smoothly within the processes established by the Director. You will manage the day-to-day flow of assets, approvals, and timelines in collaboration with our agency partner to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Serve as a key operational link between Social and our Production/Creative partners to ensure creative excellence.

IPP Sourcing & Brand Partnership Support

  • Assist with IPP Sourcing:  Partner closely with the Production team to identify and source brands that align with defined Ideal Partner Profiles (IPP), ensuring strong alignment with campaign objectives, audience, and creative direction.
  • Brand Vetting & Evaluation:  Support the vetting process by assessing prospective partners against IPP criteria, including brand fit, audience overlap, cultural relevance, and past collaboration performance.
  • Pipeline Development:  Maintain and evolve a pipeline of prospective brand partners that meet Ideal Partner Profile standards, tracking outreach status, key contacts, and partnership potential.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:  Work in close partnership with Production, Creative, and Partnerships teams to align on Ideal Partner Profile needs, share insights, and ensure a seamless transition from sourcing through execution.

What You’ll Need to Have:

  • 7-9 years of experience in social media marketing or influencer management, preferably within the home decor, lifestyle, or DTC space.
  • Strategic Sourcing Eye:  You have a pulse on the influencer space and a knack for finding "hidden gem" creators and understand that the biggest follower count doesn't always equal the best fit.
  • Experience with influencer management platforms (e.g., GRIN, Archive, CreatorIQ).
  • Mentorship Experience: You have experience guiding junior team members, interns, and freelancers, and you enjoy helping them develop their skills.
  • Aesthetic Intelligence:  You have a strong eye for interior design and visual storytelling; you understand what "stops the scroll" for a design-conscious audience.
  • Project Management:  Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage complex timelines and approval flows in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

  • Experience in high-growth DTC or consumer product brands.
  • Social Listening Fluency:  Deep familiarity with social listening and analytics tools (e.g., Talkwalker, Brandwatch, Sprout Social). You know how to set up queries, read the data, and explain *why* it matters to the team.

Contract Details:

  • $74-$81/hr
  • 12 month contract with potential for extension or conversion
  • Full-time (approx. 40 hours per week); availability for daily oversight and quick-turn campaigns
  • Los Angeles, Hybrid
