Founded in 2022, we are a rapidly growing, well-funded company with a remote-first organization spread globally. Our mission is to create a foundational platform for developers to build and run custom AI systems that scale. Join us as we shape the future of AI.

The Marketing team at Runpod sits at the intersection of product, growth, and brand. We're a lean, high-impact group that operates like a startup within a startup—moving fast, experimenting relentlessly, and measuring everything. Our content function is the engine that fuels both our product-led growth (PLG) and sales-led growth (SLG) motions, creating the educational and inspirational materials that help developers and enterprises discover, adopt, and scale with Runpod's platform.

In this role, you'll directly shape how the developer community perceives and engages with Runpod. Your content will be the primary driver of organic acquisition, nurturing prospects through our PLG funnel while also arming sales with compelling assets for enterprise deals. You'll have significant autonomy to experiment with formats, channels, and AI-powered workflows—and your successes will become the playbook for scaling our content operation.

  • Develop a content roadmap that serves the full funnel—from awareness and education to consideration and conversion
  • Identify high-impact content opportunities by monitoring the AI/ML ecosystem, competitor activity, and community conversations

Content Creation & Distribution

  • Create and oversee production of diverse content formats: technical tutorials, use case deep-dives, comparison guides, video scripts, social content, developer documentation, case studies, and more
  • Build and execute a distribution strategy that maximizes reach across search (SEO), social, developer communities (Reddit, Hacker News, Discord), newsletters, and syndication partners
  • Optimize content for both traditional SEO and generative engine optimization (GEO) to ensure Runpod surfaces in AI-powered search and discovery tools

  • Leverage AI tools and workflows to scale content production—from ideation and research to drafting, editing, and repurposing
  • Build repeatable systems and templates that maintain quality while increasing output velocity
  • Stay current on AI content tools and experiment with emerging technologies to maintain competitive advantage

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Product and Engineering to translate technical capabilities into compelling narratives
  • Collaborate with Sales to develop content that supports enterprise deals: battlecards, ROI calculators, and solution briefs
  • Work with Developer Relations to amplify community content and identify customer stories worth telling

Measurement & Optimization

  • Define and track content KPIs: organic traffic, engagement, lead generation, pipeline influence, and content-attributed revenue
  • Run experiments to continuously improve content performance and iterate based on data

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of content marketing experience, with at least 2 years in B2B SaaS or developer-focused companies
  • Proven track record of building content programs that drive measurable business results (traffic, leads, revenue)
  • Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals and experience optimizing content for search
  • Experience creating technical content for developer or engineering audiences
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Jasper, etc.) for content production
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail
  • Self-starter mentality—comfortable operating with autonomy in a fast-paced, remote environment
  • Successful completion of a background check

Preferred:

  • Experience in the AI/ML or cloud infrastructure space
  • Familiarity with generative engine optimization (GEO) and how AI-powered search is changing content discovery
  • Experience with PLG content strategies and self-serve product funnels

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
