Senior Technical Project Manager

We are seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead a small team of project managers responsible for the successful delivery of complex technology initiatives & projects across the entire Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC). This role is accountable for driving execution, enforcing delivery discipline, and ensuring technology projects meet RSI’s standards for security, compliance, quality, and operational excellence.
What You'll Do:
- Lead high-impact technology projects across the full SSDLC, from intake and planning through release and post-production support, partnering closely with Engineering, Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, Product, and Compliance.
- Drive multiple concurrent projects, ensuring delivery meets defined scope, timelines, quality standards, security controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and develop a small team of technical project managers, setting clear expectations and driving execution through decisive leadership, removal of blockers, and effective resolution of priority and resource conflicts.
- Enforce clear accountability across teams and stakeholders, ensuring commitments, milestones, and results are met or proactively escalated.
- Identify delivery risks early, escalate appropriately, and drive timely resolution in partnership with engineering leadership.
- Maintain operational rigor through accurate project documentation, transparent status reporting, and reliable delivery metrics.
What You'll Bring:
- 8+ years of experience of successfully delivering technical or software-driven projects, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong technical foundation, enabling credible engagement in technical discussions and the ability to challenge delivery timelines.
- Deep expertise in modern project management practices, including Agile and hybrid delivery models, with hands-on experience using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Demonstrated success leading and mentoring project managers, influencing cross-functional teams, and fostering inclusive, growth-oriented cultures.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a clear bias for action, ownership, and results.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
