Position Summary

The QA Director role is responsible to manage all aspects of user acceptance testing and the quality assurance lifecycle of RxSense. This includes end-to-end accountability for the testing quality of the user experience through visual inspection and functional testing against established QA principles, methodology, and guidelines.  This position requires the ability to oversee, manage and report out the status of manual test cases, execution of test scripts, and defect remediation. 

   

In addition to the Quality Assurance Function, this position is required to lead and maintain a highly efficient/effective team. This includes but is not limited to ongoing team training, process documentation, mentorship,     

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead and coordinate quality assurance testing functions for Pharmacy Business Management across multiple functional areas, including Direct to Consumer platforms.
  • Must be able to lead and coordinate with on and offshore QA teams to meet project requirements.
  • Prepare test cases, document scenarios and lead testing process/structure with on and offshore teams.
  • Define testing strategies and standards to ensure product being tested meets or exceeds standards.
  • Create test plans and define various levels of testing phases.
  • Record test results and defects and promptly communicate to development teams and management on progress.
  • Ensures that testing meets all deadlines set forth in those plans
  • Should interact and collaborate with Innovation and Engineering team and report on high-level metrics for team management on status and progress.
  • Participate in project requirement sessions, analyze and build test cases and prepare test plans
  • Define department best practices, oversee personnel management, work with senior leadership on budget and hiring functions.  
  • Represent RxSense Enterprise Engineering on internal and external calls with third party and/or client facing areas
  • Continued refinement and enhancement to the QA SDLC process with a focus on continued implementation of a best in class Quality Assurance Team.
  • Recruitment/evaluation of new hires and contract employees

 

 Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university, and 8 plus years of related work experience.
  • Prior management experience managing multiple teams and have a demonstrated work history leading highly successful and motivated teams.
  • Experience with Selenium, Cypress and other AI-based test automation tools
  • Understanding of the latest testing tools available in the market and experience integrating them into the teams.
  • Understanding of end-to-end automated testing, performance, and load testing is required, along with using various testing frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Experience working effectively in a team-oriented/collaborative environment.
  • Ability to multi-task while effectively managing time and meeting critical deadlines.
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to advocate for the customer experience.
  • Experience in Pharmacy Business Management and/or Healthcare related fields a plus.

Salary Range 150,000 - 170,000
