PRIMARY JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and monitor the full implementation process from initiation to deployment to ensure all deliverables are met according to contract.
  • Build and manage client relationships.
  • Manage multiple client implementations and projects/tasks simultaneously.
  • Assess & evaluate new client requirements against the scope of the project.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, resources and tasks to ensure that quality solutions are delivered within time and cost constraint.
  • Identify, document, and manage project risks during implementations; escalate issues as appropriate.
  • Work with Business Analysts/Solution Engineers to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Work with Development Lead to plan and monitor the delivery of custom client requirements using an agile methodology.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project implementation methodology by ensuring that best practices and decisions are documented throughout the implementation.
  • Prepare project status reports and presentations to keep management, customers and others informed of the project status and issues.
  • Leading and monitoring quality assurance across the full implementation process to ensure all deliverables, User Acceptance Testing, client training and final deployment to production are met according to contract.

Supervisory Responsibilities:  During the implementation, the Project Manager will direct and lead a cross-functional team of subject matter experts and will be responsible for the successful and on-time completion of the project and the contractual deliverables.

Demonstrates best practices for providing implementation guidance and support and is an expert on RXSENSE processes and procedures and how they relate to implementation. 

  • Creates a strong culture of employee engagement, including employee motivation, inspiration, and development.
  • Collaborates with subject matter experts to ensure continued business learning.
  • Works effectively with colleagues from other RXSENSE operations to address and resolve issues.
  • Sets work priorities without management assistance and work independently.
  • Follows established company rules and guidelines to include maintaining necessary files, records and reports; to ensure quality standards are met; to ensure ISO compliance.
  • Conducts themselves in a professional manner always, strives to improve their skills both technically and professionally.
  • Looks for advancement within the organization and strives for excellence at all times.
  • Performs other duties and/or projects as required and/or directed.

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

PBM Expertise: In-depth understanding of Pharmacy Benefit Manager operations, including claims adjudication, benefit design, formulary management, network setup, and prior authorization workflows.

Project Management: Strong project management skills, including planning, organizing, prioritizing, and executing complex projects from start to finish on time and within budget.

System/Product Knowledge: Familiarity with PBM platforms and tools. Excellent working knowledge of RXSENSE products and processes.

Leadership skills: Proficient ability to own the success of the team with minimal supervision using sound judgment, while maintaining a professional and positive demeanor.

Communication Skills: Superior written and verbal communication skills - ability to communicate information & ideas clearly & concisely.

Client-Facing Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport, manage expectations, and resolve conflicts with internal and external stakeholders. Must be able to develop and maintain strong working relationships on a multi-level basis.

Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex client requirements and translate them into actionable project plans.

Problem Solving: Proactive problem-solving abilities and a mindset focused on finding efficient, scalable solutions.

Adaptability: Comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities and responsibilities.

Excellent organizational & time management skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Education and/or Experience:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business, Pharmacy, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in PBM, healthcare, or managed care environment.
  • 2+ years of experience in implementation or project management roles.
  • Experience with PBM systems (e.g., RxIQ Enterprise, Medispan, or internal proprietary systems).
  • Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM, etc.) preferred.
  • Experience with JIRA, Google Workspace & Microsoft Product Suite.

Salary Range: 85,000 - 127,000
