Product Owner - Enterprise
We are a healthcare technology company that provides platforms and solutions to improve the management and access of cost-effective pharmacy benefits. Our technology helps enterprise and partnership clients simplify their businesses and helps consumers save on prescriptions.
As a leader in SaaS technology for healthcare, we offer innovative solutions with integrated intelligence on a single enterprise platform that connects the pharmacy ecosystem. With our expertise and modern, modular platform, our partners use real-time data to transform their business performance and optimize their innovative models in the marketplace.
Position Overview:
RxSense is looking for an Enterprise Product Owner to join our growing Data Platform team. In this role, you'll help drive the development and delivery of core data capabilities that power internal teams and enterprise-wide decision-making.
This is a role for someone who thrives in execution—you’ll work closely with a Product Manager to bring strategy to life by translating big-picture goals into day-to-day progress. You’ll collaborate with engineering partners, monitor delivery activity, and ensure the work stays aligned, understood, and clearly documented.
If you enjoy organizing complexity, influencing without authority, and being at the center of high-impact data work, this role is for you.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Product Manager to break down strategic initiatives into epics, user stories, and detailed feature specifications—ensuring clear acceptance criteria and alignment across the delivery team.
- Own and maintain a prioritized, well-groomed backlog that reflects evolving priorities, business value, and technical input.
- Work closely with data engineers to clarify requirements, flag blockers, and ensure a shared understanding of scope and intent.
- Monitor day-to-day team activity to stay ahead of delivery risks, shifting priorities, and coordination gaps (Scrum Masters handle ceremonies).
- Partner with internal stakeholders and SMEs to translate user needs into actionable requirements and communicate changes clearly.
- Write and maintain documentation, release notes, and internal product updates that support knowledge-sharing and adoption.
- Use SQL to validate outputs, analyze data behaviors, and triage production issues alongside engineering.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years as a Product Owner, Product Analyst, or Agile Business Analyst supporting data-driven products or platforms.
- 3+ years in healthcare, PBM, or health tech environments, with familiarity in pharmacy claims, eligibility, or benefit systems.
- Proven experience managing product backlogs using JIRA, including refining stories, writing acceptance criteria, and structuring epics.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams without direct authority—earning trust through clarity, responsiveness, and alignment.
- Solid working knowledge of SQL for self-service data exploration, debugging, and investigation.
- Excellent written communication skills, especially for documenting business logic, edge cases, and user-facing behavior.
- Comfort tracking multiple workstreams in fast-paced, cross-functional environments while staying organized and proactive.
- Experience in a multi-product enterprise data environment, where upstream/downstream alignment is critical.
- Familiarity with data pipeline development, data lineage, or enterprise data architecture.
- A keen eye for inconsistencies, silent failures, or edge-case behaviors in data systems.
Salary Range: $85,000 - $120,000
