Title: Commercial Real Estate Acquisitions Manager

Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Location: Falls Church, VA 

Report To: Director of Acquisitions

 

DESCRIPTION:  Growing Real Estate Investment & Development firm is seeking to hire long term Real Estate Acquisitions Manager to join their real estate holding company. Owner is looking to purchase value add, covered land play, and development properties in the Metro DC Region to hold/operate on a long-term basis.

 

JOB DUTIES:

  • Leveraging proven sourcing expertise, execute the company’s deal sourcing strategies for subject-to development projects throughout the Washington, DC Metro Area
  • Manage and execute direct marketing campaigns to commercial real estate owners and industry professionals
  • Leverage the firm’s CRM database (Salesforce) to efficiently connect with prospective sellers and/or deal partners
  • Manage existing and establish new relationships with commercial real estate owners and development consultants (i.e. civil engineers, land planners, architects, etc.)
  • Aggressively pursue and source new commercial real estate development deals throughout the Washington, DC Metro Area - includes emailing, cold calling, and canvassing commercial real estate owners
  • Complete other tasks as they arise

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or greater
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry working as a broker or investment/development professional
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized
  • Substantial knowledge of DC Metro real estate markets
  • Strong networking and communication skills
  • Must be comfortable cold calling and making unsolicited connections with property owners and industry professionals

 

HIGHLY PREFERRED SKILLS/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Existing relationships with DC Metro area commercial real estate brokers, lenders, owners and other real estate professionals and desire to form new relationships
  • Real estate sales license and brokerage license is a plus
  • Salesforce experience is a plus
