About the Role

SaaS Academy is seeking an Events Manager to take charge of planning and executing world-class events that elevate our brand and deliver exceptional experiences for attendees. This individual will manage all aspects of event logistics, lead a dedicated team, and collaborate with key departments to ensure the success of each event. As a key leader within the events team, the Events Manager will also contribute to shaping our event strategy, managing budgets, and driving event monetization efforts.

Here are the primary responsibilities of the Events Manager role, including but not limited to:

Responsibilities & Success Metrics

  1. Project Manage All Events: Lead the planning and execution of all events by managing the team to complete tasks according to established critical paths. Ensure that each event meets its critical path milestones and remains on schedule.
    1. Success Metric: Achieve all critical path milestones on time.
  2. Provide Leadership and Vision for Events: Develop and continually refine the vision for our events program, ensuring it aligns with company goals and delivers exceptional attendee experiences. Guide the team in executing this vision effectively and efficiently.
    1. Success Metric: All events are delivered on time and under budget.
  3. Collaborate on Event Promotion: Work closely with the program and marketing departments to strategize and implement internal event promotion, including content strategies in collaboration with the media team. Ensure alignment across teams to maximize event reach and engagement.
    1. Success Metric: Successful integration and execution of event monetization strategies, meeting defined revenue targets.
  4. Event Monetization Strategy: Partner with the Director of Events and the marketing department to create and own an event monetization strategy. This includes defining key metrics and ensuring the strategy’s successful implementation.
    1. Success Metric: Meet or exceed monetization metrics and financial targets.

Experience and Qualifications

Required

  • 7+ years of experience as an event manager, planner, or director
  • 3+ years of experience in event marketing
  • Proficiency in Zoom Events and Zoom Webinar

Preferred

  • Experience with RegFox
  • Proven ability to lead and innovate in high-pressure environments
  • Strong decision-making skills and adaptability

Time Zone | Location

  • US or Canadian time zones required
